LOL! Actually a good question! No. Its not. It works for me. I follow the instructions plus, I brush with it. You got to be careful, tho, it can irritate your gums. I was doing it daily, till I saw it working ( about 2 weeks) then I backed off a bit. I was very happy with how it worked for me.

Does it break down dental work such as fillings etc? I have a lot of dental work in my mouth

No not at all. It only gets rid of tartar build up

Do you this before or after brushing your teeth??

I tend to build up tartar so I use before and after, morning and night sometimes even afternoon.
