After reading the other reviews I almost didn't purchase this TV, but I'm so glad I did yes it is very very light, but then all new expensive TV's are as I have found the picture quality to be extremely clear ONCE you have set it up and people need to remember that this product is affectively an android phone/tablet and if u treat it as such its brilliant and the only time I have had any lag or delay from the remote control was when I kept forgetting to shut it down properly instead of just putting it on standby. Alot of people won't realise that u have to hold the off button down for 2 secs and then press the power off option. The smart side of the TV is great took 5 secs to set up out the box if u already have an android phone. The 16gb memory is ample for all the apps I want to use and try, I have also added alexa and a Bluetooth mini keyboard and it has made the user experience even better!

Bought this for my recently newly built reception room. I hung it on the wall with bracket , it was just perfect size to fit my room. Now I can enjoy my own favourite tv programmes without sharing with other families. I was quite surprised with its quality to be honestly. TV pictures are quite clear and especially the surrounding sound effect really impressed me. Felt like sitting in cinema. Very easy to set up and operate as I already had one smart TV I just need to figure out the where to find these options on new remote controls and TV . Connected to my wifi with fast speed got no problem watching internet programmes. And with this bargain price , I would recommend it .

In no particular order: has tuners for both freeview and freesat built in; remote is easy to operate; built in apps for Netflix, Amazon Prime and all the usual terrestrial TV (e.g. ITV Hub, BBC i-Player, etc); set up was easy, especially if you are an Android phone user, as it can use your account info; built in wifi seems to work really well (have streamed 4K UHD Netflix content without buffering); TV colour, sounds quite configurable for personal viewing preferences; picture quality is quite acceptable, but not as good as say, as the big brands, e.g. Sony, Samsung. In summary, as a TV for the bedroom (which is what I bought this for), for £330 it is good value and performance in that price bracket is great. As a main viewing TV in the lounge, for example, I would go for one of the big brands.

I have to admit I wasn't expecting too much from a British made product, we are not known for quality mass produced electronics are we lol? So I am now eating my words I am completely blown away by this TV, great value for money and too many features I will go into more detail below but if you want a quality product for a good price this is it guys I will be buying a 60inch model for my front room as this tv was for my daughters new room. First impressions. .boxed very nicely and securely instructions are a little sprase for such a feature rich TV but there is an online manual as well as one included on the TV itself they r both a bit fiddly to access but OK content wise. The TV itself looks like a quality item nice plastics no dead pixels, bonus, even the stand is nice but the remote feels very basic which means a lot of the features require multiple button presses to access, of the remote was a little more comprehensive it would make things a little easier a minor gripe. Out of the box tv setup is v easy but do bear in mind this is an android TV so u will need a Google account to get the most out of it. Features Where do I start, Bluetooth, WiFi, gamepad support, Google play store, alexa, Google assistant, WiFi camera app support, ring doorbell app support, enough ports for anyone. I am still finding new things it does the feature list on item description is accurate and I have found one or two that aren't listed. Chrome cast works well. Operation Very simple but as it has freeview streaming you tube etc it can get confusing fast but the main menu is adequate at directing u where u want to go. You can add lots of streaming via Google play store apps it supports android games but u do need a Bluetooth gamepad to play, Bluetooth headphones connect easily without too much audio lag altho optical still needs tweaking. Picture quality for the price is v good, feature sets for picture and audio tweaking are good if a little light on features for true tweaker but enough for everyday use and when you consider the price the feature sets are v good value. Ports feel well made and sturdy, connections thru ports are quick to pop up on screen hdmi picture is awesome, blacks are deep without affecting the brightness and contrast of the image as well, colours are good the led back-light isn't as bright as my Samsung though don't know why. Audio is OK as there isn't much room for speakers they r a little tinny sounding but this si standard through out all panel displays so it's nothing new. Audio out to a sound system, bar speaker or other is very good quality though. Final thoughts Although I wasn't expecting too much from a British made TV at this price point I was thoroughly impressed with this feature rich and well made TV from a British company, so much so that I will be considering getting a larger model for the living room. Good quality feature rich TV this is a good value true android TV that works well looks good and I am still finding features on it lol. All in all a good buy I am very happy thank you TCL. 5 stars

I got this tv to play PS4 with and what an upgrade. The picture quality is 1080p on a normal PS4 but the tv will output 4K on anything that supports it. The stand was easy to set up and the tv is very light for the size. Only downside is the controller is very thin so sometimes you can press wrong buttons! Would certainly recommend great value for money

Would not recommend this TV! It's a decent price for it's size and it's a smart TV but it's operating system is terrible. It's very delayed (can take up to 2 seconds for it to register volume change) and it gets stuck in a loop so I need to unplug the TV to reset it I bought this TV specificat for the OS, mostly watching YouTube and Netflix so this is a huge let down. If you're just going to watch TV and not use the OS then yeah it's a pretty good TV, good quality and sound

Colours are disappointing also they constantly keep update the tv which keeps resetting your settings just as you finally get the picture how you like it. (Annoying) Today the TV wouldn't work untill turned off and on again I do not recommend an android TVs especially this one had it 4 months now

Placed an order a month ago and then read other comments and thought 'what have I done' !!. Anyway it was delivered and packaging was fine. I've wall mounted so cannot comment about the stand screws problems. The outer plastic at the rear does seem slightly thin and flexible which explains why the TV is very light. Mounted to the wall using previous brackets for a Panasonic with no problems. Setup is easy to follow and linked via wifi to the BT Hub with no issues. Tuned in to all channels with no issues. Default picture and sound settings are fine....easy to tweak via the menu. Had no problems with internet viewing of BBC iplayer / ITV & C4 Hub / NETFLIX / YouTube. The only negative comment, which others have mentioned, is it takes approx. 20 seconds for the TV to turn on. Also there is no switch to power off, this can only be done at the plug socket or by disconnecting the power lead at the rear of the TV. Apart from that we've had no issues and for £300 for a 50inch smart TV you can't complain.
