Great product, must have!
These are comfortable. They stay in place. And they work. Paid for themselves on the first day by saving me a trip to the ER. Protect yourself!

A++ Top-Notch Protection and Comfort!
The Triple Eight EP elbow pads are absolutely fantastic! They offer excellent protection without sacrificing comfort. I've used them during multiple skate sessions, and they’ve saved my elbows more times than I can count. The fit is snug but not restrictive, and the padding is thick and absorbs impacts perfectly.The straps are adjustable and stay secure, even during intense skating. Plus, the build quality is solid, with no signs of wear after repeated use. If you want reliable, professional-grade elbow protection, these are the way to go. Highly recommend!

Smallish but works
These are relatively small (as in thickness, padding) compared to 187s. It's better than taking concrete straight to the elbow, though.

They Knew What They Were Doing
so basically what do you want in skateboarding knee pads? Umm that they are comfortable and aren’t a nuisance .. and that they will protect when you go down..So these do both those things.. and they look good..So just to elaborate a bit: the combo of nylon and padding with a Velcro strap to hold in place and then a stronger nylon strap for tension over it.. see they knew what they were doing.. this makes it so you can wear looser or tighter and it doesn’t annoy or cause abrasion.. like i can get them to a point where i don’t even really notice them and they don’t effect my skating.. so then if they do need to come into use on a fall: yep good correct about of hard plastic shell and then padding underneath…

Must have
I love these. I fell off a scooter about 2.5 years ago and unfortunately I landed on my right elbow. I knew right away that something was wrong with it. Turns out I had a small fracture in my radial head. It eventually healed but that accident was when I realized that I needed elbow pads for when riding a scooter. The next day I ordered these pads on Amazon and I won't rise without them. These pads are fantastic. They're not that expensive but they're very effective. They fit well and they have a hard shell on the outside right over the elbow. That hard shell is primarily what will protect your elbow from being injured if you have a bad fall. I've had 3 falls on my scooter since getting these elbow pads and didn't even get a scrape from any of them while wearing these pads. Obviously you never want to fall, but if you do, these pads WILL protect (and save) your elbow. I've had the same pair for over 2.5 years at this point and they work great. They don't wear down or anything. Highly recommend. Honestly, I think these pads are better than some of the more expensive elbow pads. Sometimes basic pads are better than more "sophisticated pads". Trust me....get these and you won't be sorry.

great fit
I'm 5 feet 1 to 2 inches tall and 105 lbs, fits my arm snug but good. My old elbow pads wore out quickly and kept sliding down my arm. I play Roller Derby and these were well worth the price.

Ordered xl almost need xxl not a big guy
First and essentially only issue is that the fabric behind the retention straps is tight for an xl to the point where if I’m at a spot to go skating and my arms are warmed up these are annoying to put on and I find myself not taking the time to put them on. The Velcro retention strap has some slack left but there is a flexible fabric behind the straps that has to be pulled over your hands and up your arms. I’m an not excessively muscular or fat and have normal adult arms I feel and I feel the xl size should have much more room or they need to offer an xxl size. If I want to wear a long sleeve under which I haven’t tried yet I am sure it would be frustrating or so uncomfortable I wouldn’t even do it. Worst case scenario if I gain more mass in my arms I will end up cutting the fabric for more room. Otherwise they do the job I’ve crashed once in them so far and still have a functional elbow with no skin left on the concrete. Padding is adequate looks are acceptable but not exiting or cool looking personally but their just their to save you skin so eh meh. The best thing they could do is creat some adjustability to trench able fabric behind the straps or separate them so they don’t need slid up your arms OR sell an XXL size. Also more colors would be cool. Be safe !
