Great bridge at a great price.
Dropped this into an Indonesian Squier Strat I've been working on.The 6 mounting screws were a little too wide for this bridge to drop in flawlessly, but I expected as much, considering my guitar is cheap. I got the 4 in the middle to sit just fine and they do their job perfectly. Didn't affect string spacing or intonation at all.The block itself is almost twice as thick as the one that came stock on my guitar. Excellent sustain. The whammy bar drops right in. No screwing it in to get to to fit. Pops in, pops out. Makes it easy to take it on the go.Saddles are excellent quality. I haven't noticed any issues with string friction when using the whammy bar itself. The raised sides of the trem make it flush with the saddles, so you don't have the saddle posts digging into your hand when palm muting.A nice little touch that I didn't expect to see was an bit of solder on the claw. With a price this low, I really wasn't expecting something like that.I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a cheap upgrade to their strat style.

Great tremolo
I bought this for a Sawtooth strat copy. The one that came with it was actually not that bad but it didn't come with tremolo arm so I bought this one. I had to dowel all the mounting holes but one. This is a Very Good and solid tremolo. It actually made the guitar sound better but I didn't notice any change in sustain as noted in other comment but this is a really nice tremolo. It makes all other tremolos look and feel like complete junk. Do not buy this unless you have knowledge on working on guitars or if you are willing to take to a luthier. Also the Sawtooth strat is a decent guitar but as like this tremolo,it needed a set up and fretboard was rough and needed sanded.

Great for the price
My only issue is the trem arm takes a little effort to push in, I actually returned the first one I got because I didn’t think it fit when I got the replacement I used some force and it popped in after that it it went in and out easier

Requires some fitting
Very good quality item. I especially like the the hidden saddle screws so my right hand is not scratched by them. However most likely 6 screw holes will not line up perfectly. I put it to my project guitar and aligned two holes and filled others with wood fill and and re-drilled other 4 holes and it worked just fine. Also not tremolo bar is very different from standard one - don't loose it ))

Best Bang For The Buck
As far as the unit itself, it appears and operates as a robust trem tail. I've done full dives with it and it keeps tuning. As far as fitment, the mounting holes don't exactly line up but to its defense, I have a Yamaha Pacifica Strat "copy" so I'm guessing the hole alignment footprint is proprietary to that guitar. It may line up better with an actual Strat. If it doesn't, it's worth the modification. At this price point, you can't go wrong.

Decent
This tremolo was a step up from the fender tremolo on my strat. I didn’t like the fender because of the sloppy tremolo arm. This tremolo arm is tight and secure and the tightness is adjustable to suit my preferences. One bad thing is that the pivot screw holes would not line up because they were a few thousandths to wide so I plugged the holes and drilled new ones. I’ll be adjusting on it in the coming days to get it just right. Not a bad purchase to upgrade.

It works! It works! It IS what it said it is!
This Tremolo (Vibrato) bridge is the answer to the problem of vintage string spacing being to wide and having your high and Low E strings slip off the fingerboard. For $30 not $170 via Callaham. This bridge would have made Allan Holdsworth very pleased... because you can take any Vintage Strat and give it a Humbucker string spacing. Ala... Charvel guitars. Also a Special Note! It came Pre-Intonated for .010's anyway. Very cool and unexpected... I wonder if the $170 Callaham does? No one here could answer my questions about this bridge so I hope this helps anyone else who was wondering about it. Oh, and Amazon... Quit selling stale Starbucks coffee. I roast my own now... No thank you.

Complete junk!
Poor quality materials is only slightly better than horrible fit and function. I won't even send this back so someone else could get it!I will never buy another wilkinson product!
