can this be used to lubricate syringe needles?

I’m not familiar with the use of syringe needles but, if it has to do more with the material compatibility, then I would say yes, however, I think the more important question is if it would be ok mixing or reacting with whatever you are placing in the syringe. This lubricant is for use on water filters and, as such, there is not chemical reactivity with water or chance of poisoning…it is “food grade”. Sorry for the indirect answer.
