FORTEM Ratchet Straps - Tie Down Strap Set, (4) Pack, 748kg Break Strength

I purchased the FORTEM Ratchet Straps ahead of a big house move where I needed to secure furniture and boxes on a trailer, and they’ve performed absolutely brilliantly. These straps are a must-have if you need to transport anything safely and securely. The first thing you notice is the quality of materials. The straps themselves are made from thick, strong polyester webbing that feels robust and durable. Rated for a massive 748kg breaking strength, you can genuinely trust them to hold heavy loads without fear of snapping or fraying. Each strap comes with a ratchet mechanism and solid metal hooks on each end. The ratchets are smooth and easy to operate — you simply feed the strap through, crank it to the desired tension, and lock it into place. It’s quick, efficient, and most importantly, safe. I used them to secure a mix of furniture, toolboxes, and household goods to a trailer and roof rack, and they held everything firmly in place for hours of motorway driving. Even when we encountered rougher country roads, nothing shifted. The webbing is resistant to weather too — we got caught in heavy rain for part of the journey, but the straps dried quickly and didn’t absorb water, sag, or weaken. Great peace of mind knowing they can handle UK weather conditions. One thing I really like about these straps compared to cheaper versions is that the ratchet mechanism is solid without being overly stiff. It’s strong enough to tighten down securely, but doesn’t require wrestling to release when you’re ready to unpack. The set comes in a nice compact storage bag, which makes keeping them tidy and ready for future use easy. A small touch, but one I appreciate when organising the garage! Only tiny improvement I could suggest would be slightly longer straps for very large loads, but for 95% of everyday jobs, the provided length is perfect. In short, the FORTEM Ratchet Straps offer outstanding strength, ease of use, and durability. Ideal for moving house, camping trips, securing bikes, or anything else you can think of. Highly recommended!

Very strong and sturdy. I used these to move a 500kg rolling tool cart from point A to point B a while few months back. I strapped the rolling toolbox in and set off. Knowing the country roads, I wasn't shy when it came to taking the winding country roads at normal car speeds and the stops didn't;t let me down. I was most concerned about the tie-down points in the van. Neither let go. The straps are well made, sturdy and strong. I will buy these again should I require this strength.

Did exactly what it says on the tin, excellent purchase.

I have yet to use them in anger, seems to be of decent construction and materials.

Very Useful. Good value for money. Lifetime Warranty.

Good straps, quick delivery, work exactly as supposed to.

Used to steady Honda 750cc Motorcycle onto trailer. VERY strong & great quality straps & ratchets, should last me decades.

Excellent product strong and durable

Optimal ,-)

Product as described! Quick delivery! Many thanks!
