Can this product be used diluted?

This product can not be diluted like my wife’s empathy.

How long does this last?

I expect it to last a year. I haven’t was the vehicle since I applied it a month ago.

Do I have to do full polish/paint correct to prep? Or can I just clay it and then apply this?

To be honest it would depend on the condition of your paint and the tools and products on hand. A mild polish/correction never hurts.

Can this be used on gel coat?

So long as you strip and clean the gel coat first the M27 will bond to the surface.
