the taste is good but more importantly for me, the smell was good. I bought some decaf grounds from Grumpy Mule and Illy and they, sadly, did not have that magical ground coffee smell. I'm not saying there isn't room for improvement since I'd give it about 8/10 for the smell but after the other failures from the other brands, defo good enough. NB one Kg was too much for me and I stored half of it in an air tight container but by the time I'd used the the first half (stored in a proper coffee grounds container that let it breathe) the grounds in the air tight container didn't smell great so I had to through them away. Now hunting for a 500g alternative to this item. Would recommend if you can store the 1kg properly.

Really great taste for decaf coffee without the nasty side affects of caffeine. I use it in my filter machine and add cream and it tastes just like normal coffee. I’ve been looking for a low acid, toxin free decaf for a while and this brand is lovely. It’s quite expensive but if you can’t drink caffeinated coffee for any reason and really miss the taste, it’s worth it. Buying the larger bag will probably save you some money in the long run.

This is by far the best tasting decaf coffee I have ever tasted. It tastes like the real thing and you'd be hard pressed to tell the difference. When I first ordered this though I felt very short changed! Partly my fault though as I hadn't properly read advert so when a small bag of coffee arrived for a tenner I fell through the floor! That being said, the coffee tastes amazing so I could sort of let it go, but lets be honest, it is vastly overpriced for a 227g bag. Hence why I have knocked a star off because whilst it five star coffee, the price certainly isn't! One thing I would say though is that this is extremely finely ground so just bear that in mind if you intend to use a coffee/French press. Overall happy and have purchased another bag based purely on taste. Just use it sparingly!!

The quality of the coffee was excellent, good smooth taste and was very low in caffeine but the quantity in the packet was insufficient for the money so I will look for a cheaper version

Good coffee, but way too dear. Six times the price of Lavazza at my local supermarket. Nowhere near six times as good.

I am so thrilled to have found this coffee. After struggling to find a decent decaf, after needing to give up my numerous daily cups of ground coffee for health reasons, I have finally found a decaf which tastes like good caffeinated coffee. All of the others that I have tried are very weak tasting and have an odd flavour. This one is very different. The decaf is rich and smooth; a really wonderful decaf. I can finally enjoy a great cup of coffee, without the caffeine.

For years I suffered with ibs and had to cut caffeine from my life. I had decaf for a while but still got ibs flare ups from it. It’s been years since I could drink coffee but I always miss it as I love the taste so much!This coffee tastes amazing and gives me absolutely no digestive discomfort! It’s amazing and has changed my life! I feel so happy that I can finally drink coffee again!

Really not nice. Has a nasty after taste of chicory. Won't buy again!
