Adams6-Panel Washed Pigment-Dyed Cap, Burgundy, OS

I've been looking for a hat that that doesn't go so far down my skull that my ears poke out, and.. this is the hat! the bill is the tiniest bit long but sun coverage is stellar..width of said brim is perfect and the Adams hat overall is extremely well made and worth waiting for.. shipping was also spot on and I loved the first one so much I'm waiting for the three new ones I ordered!..no regrets on this purchase!

I have quite a collection of ball type caps. Some great but most, while they look nice don't offer much sun protection for the top of the head. The Adams caps have a bit longer bill for good shading of the face and the interior lining, while good for wicking away perspiration also adds a great layer of sun protection for the noggin'. Hold it up to the light and very little, if any, shines through. This was a tip from my dermatologist. These caps compare very well to a waxed cap I bought a few years ago that cost 3x as much.

Well-built and comfortable, with an adjustable strap. The hat has a sewn hole for the extra strap so it doesn't stick out. I bought my first Adams hat at a shop in Florida (it had a logo on the front). It quickly became my favorite hat because of its comfort and quality. It's been many years and that hat has been subject to all the elements - as well as many summer's worth of a sweaty head, and it held up well but the sweatiness eventually left a stain (I should have washed it more often. It took washing very well, btw)This hat is the exact same hat - color and everything - and seems to be just as well-made as the Adams hat I bought years ago. Honestly, how often do you read of someone going out-of-their-way to find a particular baseball cap? The Adams hats are worth the effort.

I read the reviews of people saying they wear only these ball caps and will forever. Yeah, sure, I thought.Until I bought one, and now I agree! Well-made, or rather well-constructed, a better term for the quality and true color that's obvious as soon as one dons one of these excellent lids. Some companies save material by creating a shorter backside to their caps, which means they're easier to blow off in the wind. Even when staying on the head they have the irritating habit of riding high over time, making one reach up to tug them back into place. Not an Adams cap! The bill is substantial, and the sizing buckle easy to set, making the strap immovable once it's where you want it. Add my name to those who say they've found THE cap they'll wear for life. Kudos too to the company for offering such high quality at a very reasonable price!

Of all my years of wearing baseball caps, this is the best looking one I've ever owned! It has a mesh lining inside and vents for ventilation preventing a hot head. The brim is also the perfect shape. I'm purchasing another one right now.

Great quality for a blank hat. Minus two stars though for the fact that there are no photos of the back strap that contains a lot of "Adams" branding on it (logo on buckle and ADAMS debossed into the leather strap). I bought these hats to have embroidered for a small clothing project I have been working on and so it is obnoxious to have so much of the Adams branding on these if you are using it for any other purpose than to just buy a blank hat to wear for personal use.

A really good find. The mesh inner-lining certainly helps to stop my head getting too warm when it is really hot. I prefer the low profile cap and it is difficult to find a good quality cap in this style. An added bonus is that there is a wide range of colours. I have now purchased another three of these caps in different colours!
