Shurtape A&E P-665 is a general-purpose cloth gaffers tape that's economical yet high-performance. This is the industry-standard gaffers tape and has been for decades, as it's commonly used for holding wiring, lighting and props and other set and stage applications. Shurtape gaffers tape (once called Permacel gaffers tape) now comes in just three colors - black, white and gray. Typically used to hold wiring, lighting, and props. Also ideally suited for a wide range of sealing, splicing, holding, color coding, and decorative applications. Adhesion: 77 ounces per inch (to stainless steel test panel). Tensile Strength: 48 pounds per inch (longitudinal). Carrier/Backing: vinyl-coated cloth. Adhesive: synthetic rubber. Thickness: 11.5 mils (carrier, adhesive). Elongation: 5%. Application Temperature: 45F to 200F. Certifications: CID A-A-1586A
