Worth the Wait for Cain and Nick.
What a fun, flirty, sexy book. Just perfect to take us away from the times we currently find ourselves in.Buttoned up lawyer, the best friend's brother, and EagerBoyz hunky porn star, also geek and gamer, Cain have a slow burn romance. Cain has had it bad for Nick for a decade and he's twenty-four now. Seems like now is the time for a change. Right? If you'd like to be transported for a few hours, then this book, this series, offers you a lot to enjoy.Including -A story that flowed well with an easy writing styleNice charactersYou do not have to have read book #1, Eager for You, as this really is a standaloneA bit of fetish that a few in the genre enjoy reading, I know I doSexy timesA happy ending.Kick back and enjoy!

Okay
Not spectacular. This story about the porn star's unrequited love for someone who he really shouldn't fall in love with, is okay. It read very much as a writing-by-numbers story. I didn't detect a lot of warmth. Still, it's passable, just not all that memorable. Our porn star might as well have been a road sweeper for all the porn star filming we read about.

Always eager for more
I love reading H. L. Day's books. The books always have me engaged from the first Chapter until the last word. To me reading books is a way to escape to someone else's world. H. L. Day always delivers that for me. The writing just flows and I can't seem to find a stopping place, I keep pushing myself to read a little more before bedtime, until it's late and I've finished the book, lol.Enjoy, you won't be disappointed.

A fun romp
A fun romp. Entertaining read. A story about a guy who has been in love with his best friend’s brother for many years. Both men are hiding secrets that eventually come to the surface. Highly recommend this book.

Long held crush and fetish fears
3.5 🌟 rounded upI have not read the other books in this series, and I had no problem enjoying this story. The characters are fairly well developed, and the storyline flows nicely.Cain grew up gaming with his best friend Theo, and following Theo's older brother, Nick, around like a lovesick pup. Ten years later and the crush is still at the forefront of Cain's mind, even though Theo tells him it won't happen, and he very rarely sees Nick. But, when he does, he's still "squirt," letting him know he's still seen as Nick's little brother's best friend. But, no one knows what Cain has been doing to earn extra money, and at least for the time being, he plans to keep it that way.Nick is a top notch attorney, but his insecurities have kept him alone for a while. Only his outgoing socialite friend, Bailey, knows his deepest secret; well, him and the two ex boyfriends he trusted enough to expose his truth to, only for it to be too much for each of them. When Bailey drags Nick to an anniversary party for an adult film company, he never expected that the one man who caught his eye would turn out to be Cain.I have to admit, I wanted to give Nick a piece of my mind multiple times throughout this book. So did Cain, right up until he came face to face with Nick's most hidden desire...then things ignited. Unfortunately, Nick has a way of overthinking, overanalyzing, and doubting himself into the doghouse. Cain was very forgiving, but he retained some of his stubborn ways as well.Once they both figure out what they want from the relationship, they have to face reality. Amusingly, against Cain's wishes, Nick has kept the fact that they've been seeing each other quiet; that is, until they finally get their act together... Somewhere besides one of their places. Overall, even though it was frustrating, getting to see Nick feel better about himself made the story okay by me.Happy reading!* I received an ARC of this book and I am leaving my honest review. *

Really enjoyed this one
I have not read book 1 & I did not feel lost reading book 2, I also will be going back & reading it. I really liked both Cain & Nick. The only real issue I had is when Cain gets mad at Nick because Nick gets mad when Cain states that he is going back to work. Nick knows he works in the adult film industry & what, you just get mad instead of having a conversation with him? I loved Nick's secret, so hot and we do not get enough of that type of secret in books. Cain has had a crush on Nick since he was a teen. Nick has only seen him as his brother's best friend. When Nick is dragged to an adult entertainment party and he starts seeing Cain in a different light, he stops seeing him as just a kid and starts see him as the grown man he has become. These two were very hot together. There were times that I wanted to smack both of them & tell them just communicate!ARC provided by the author in exchange for an honest review.

Enjoyable story with a good dose of heat
Eager for More is the second standalone in the author’s EagerBoyz series which is built around a gay porn company. Though it took me a bit out of my comfort zone with its manties kink, I would call it low on the kink scale because it didn’t overshadow the romance storyline. Overall, I found this best friend’s brother romance to be a fun read with loads of heat.I quite liked the angle of Cain growing up lusting after Nick. It fueled tension and sparks right from the start and made the speed of their relationship and feelings feel more plausible. I also enjoyed how well these two fit, specifically in the areas each man was overly self-conscious of. There were definitely bobbles, many due to miscommunication or lack of communication, but they didn’t prove as frustrating as those scenarios often can be. Instead, I found this to be an easy, enjoyable read that offered up a good dose of heat, great characters, and some teasers of stories/ characters I can’t wait to read more about.*eARC received via author.
