The "brand" name cracks me up. But honestly this kit is VERY good. I've been making my own ethernet cables for years, but had never tried the "pass through" version until now. I saw MUCH more expensive options, but wanted to try it first before spending more money.. Well, I don't need to spend more money. This works perfectly. As I've gotten older, my eyes and hands don't work like they used to, and I found that using the traditional (non pass through) method was becoming more and more frustrating. This makes it so much easier and makes a nice professional looking cable. The included cable tester is also fantastic, considering the price for everything. It also comes with replacement blades!

This is a great package. The crimp tool is heavy duty and should last. The connectors are as expected. The tester works perfectly and the wire stripper works. Finally, the price is reasonable. Pass-through connectors simplify the task of making a perfect cable connection.

Totally worthy kit, the only thing I did not like are the little stripper tool, and the rj45 connectors could have a better guide aligment inside so that the cables could slide easier through...other than that very happy with the tool, since the very first crimped connector 100% succesfullness , slides good , strips the cable good and cuts good too... totally recommended for the price and the content

This is a good connection installation kit. The stripper/crimper makes light work of properly attaching RJ45 connectors on a cable. My first strippings cut through to the bare conductors. I'm not sure if I was doing it wrong, but the next ones were ok. The cable tester works fine and is easy to use on routed cables as well because of its two piece design.

This is an excellent starter kit for crimping Cat5/6 cable. Lots of cutting and crimping options. Very sturdy tool with loads of useful extras.The instructions make it super easy, and the included tester gave me lots of confidence. My first cable worked great, and I only needed to practice cutting one end a couple times. Seriously -- I lost maybe 3 inches of cable mastering the techniques for installing the cable ends. Pictures are of my very first try!Depending on the cable you're using, be careful not to put too much pressure on the stripping tool, but it gives you several options for cable size.I enjoyed all the tools and have enough ends to make 25 Ethernet cables!

I needed the pass-through connectors only. I am happy that I chose this particular offering. I really didn't expect much from the crimps. These are now my favorite crimps. I can't imagine ever using the RJ-11 features, but the RJ-45 features work great. I particularly like the cutter that trims the pass-through wires. I had to adjust it a bit, but now it works great. The cable tester gets the job done. No extra frills; just a reliable device for checking continuity. The connectors themselves are good. The pins seat well and I get a solid connection to the ports. And that wire stripper is a handy little tool. I collect those things and keep them handy near my work benches. I would buy it again.
