Varta batteries are cheaper than other, better-known brands, and they last significantly longer.

I know prices fluctuate daily, but I won't buy at the price they are today which is a shame. I hope they become affordable again because these batteries are amazing. I got some originally for a German made cuckoo clock, and they lasted 6 years before needing to be changed. If Amazon winds up carrying like a 4 pack of these, I will absolutely buy them.
