Stylish and functional. Installed this on my dual sport bike to have the option to turn off my headlight when off-road.

Awesome quality so far. Very sturdy with a definite click when I push the button. The LED ring comes on when switch is engaged and off when switch is off. Works for me, but you could wire it differently if you understand wiring. Speaking of wiring, it comes with NO instructions so get what you need from the posted pictures and the Q&A.

For me, the wiring seemed to be different than other reviewers and what was posted in the ad. I wired this up to my 1999 Dyna wide glide. If you are getting a minimal red light at the switch in the off position, it’s probably just backwards. It took me forever to figure out but I had to wire my blue wire to HOT, brown wire to negative/ground, black wire to the control wire (hot on my light bar). Install tip, if wiring to a bike, use a multimeter and look for a connection inside the bike, possibly with a red or red and something color wire (I used the rear light harness) You want it to be a HOT wire connection when the bike is on, but not in the off position. Depending where it’s installed some wires would give power to the switch at all times otherwise.. Unplug the harness, and turn the bike to the on position electrically, not running. With the multimeter set to 20v ground at the frame and touch the pins of the connector with the other pin of the meter until you find which wire is HOT. The wires inside the switch can be forced backed outwards with an approx size allen key.. Then, shove the blue hot wire from the switch into same wire pin you took out, and no splicing into the factory system is needed.

No wiring diagram. Had to look at Amazon pictures to get close but ended up frying the switch. Throw in trash and wasted $10.

Nice little switch. The small mounting bracket fits well on my motorcycle handle bars. Easy to wire up I just wish the wires coming out of the switch would be a little heavier to make connecting a little easier. Seems to work just fine.

I am unsure that I ever actually found a CORRECT diagram when I used this switch to wire underglow lights to my sportbike. It took way longer than expected because wiring as shown in the description did not work. It took some trouble shooting to discover that mine was possibly wired incorrectly. In order to get it functioning correctly I wired as follows from switch: Blue > positive battery terminal Black > positive for light kit Brown > Negative battery terminal (with negative from light kit as well). I hope this helps if anyone else has issues.

Really it's about appearance and the variety of configurations this style switch offers.

It blends well on the bike handle, like its a oem part. The only thing is why would they have it when you press the button and the switch turns red when the light is off? It should be the way around, I guess its not a big deal. I do recommend it.
