Died after having it 3 weeks and 1 day
It died and left my husband stranded. It seems to be some sort of loose connection since right before it quit absolutely, power was cutting in and out as he'd hit cracks in the sidewalk. Very disappointed.

Speed and charger problems
This scooter looks good, physically it's pretty solid minus the cheap vinyl seat that tears after couple of years. There are two major problems with this scooter and one irritating problem, which shows these so called engineers who designed this, never consulted the handicaps who are the end users.Problem one: recessed charging connection, which makes it so difficult to see and insert the charging plug in, on top of that it's all black. And if you have both 12amp and 17 amp battery packs, you'll notice that the connection is 180 degree different which makes no sense.Problem two: which is just as bad, is the speed being way to fast at the lowest speed setting, way way too fast. I've injured myself many times and damaged furniture and walls many times because of this problem.Irritating problem: they changed the charge indicator to diodes, which is the stupidest thing I've seen done to any kind of indications. It is blinding bright, that means if for example you need to go to the bathroom at night and don't want to turn on the room light so not to bother anyone, you'll have to cover it to prevent being blinded by the diodes. As if that's not bad enough, it doesn't do a good job on showing the battery level. You will see the level 1/3 left, next thing you know it will have no power, all because the damn diodes cannot indicate charge level accurately, as a matter of fact it's way off.The first time I bought one of this brand new, it required repairs four times within the first year, thank god it was during the warranty. One could say why I bought this twice if it's so bad, the answer is simple, pride has cornered the market where I live. Frankly I wish I didn't have to buy this and I wouldn't have had if I had a choice.

NOT FOR ROUGH STREETS
Most mobility scooters and chairs have solid rubber tires and no springs or shock absorbers. There are streets here that have rough pebble surfaces and they shake the teeth out of you if you try to use them. Even sidewalks cause them to chatter as you go bumping along. You feel every sidewalk joint. Also, when replacing batteries,do it yourself or have a handman do it. It's lots cheaper. Open the battery case (if your specs don't tell you the "size" battery) and find the size and order from Amazon battery supplier. This will cost less than half as much as buyng from the scooter companies and local reps. And you get free shipping and return shipping, if needed, from Amazon if you are a Prime Customer. Plus their guarantee.I was able to get larger charge batteries for my GoGo. I found the ones that came with it were UB12120 (Universal Battery 12 volt, 12 ampere-hours per charge.) And that the UB12150 have the same physical size, but 3 more ampere-hours (not hours) of use before recharge. This means you can go longer and in my case up longer, steeper hills than with the original. If you need more info email me at [email protected]

Met Our Expectations
Has given my wife much greater mobility and freedom. Recommend it to anyone who has trouble walking more than a short distance. Easy to assemble and get rolling. Comfort adjustments are excellent -- swivel seat and liftable arms make it simple to get on and off. Seems to be stable and sturdy with normal precautions. Not nimble enough for tight spaces like a small apartment; otherwise it's quite maneuverable. Difficult for someone with limited mobility to get the charger plugged into the battery without removing the battery.

I Am Very Pleased With This Product!
This scooter is pretty sturdy. Very easy to put together. The battery is strong, they recommend owners to keep the battery plugged in when not in use to preserve it as long as possible. Having this scooter has allowed me to join my family on outings such as Disneyland without slowing them down.If I was in the market to replace this scooter, I would go for the next one up, the Pride Victory with lights.February 17,2018Now 3 years later ... I continue to be impressed with this old faithful! Here are a few notations in case these could be of help to those trying to find a good reliable scooter:1. Do not keep the battery plug in when not in use as per instructions. Best charge only 8-12 hours after use. If not being used, charge weekly only. I had battery replaced several times due to overcharging!2. I’ve taken this faithful companion onto a cruise ship, it fitted through the cabin door perfectly (with handles removed) I’m so glad I didn’t buy the Pride Victory with lights after all. It would have been more difficult to get into the cabin if possible at all! It was also able to negotiate each tour we’ve taken... Including cobblestone streets. Though if I had known, I would have spare the poor scooter such a vigorous test! It survived well, I’m glad to report!3. The 3 wheeler has excellent turn circle. Been very easy to maneuver in tight spaces. 3 wheels has been stable enough for me as long as I was not doing a wild speedy turn to impress my grandkids!! :)Update April 24, 2023Now 8 years later … the scooter is still going strong. It has a clicking sound on the right wheel side but no one could find the cause and it does not hamper its function. Epcot for me would have been impossible without this! I’ve replaced the battery with a 22 amp. Lasted all day! Continue to be impressed by this product!

not happy
I have had my scooter for 75 days at about 40 days thet had to replace the wiring harness and I later found out I was not alone . On or about 72 days something has gone wrong on the drive mechanism . I called Pride and the customer service people were so rude and said to call the place I bought it from . So what I have to do is call amazon so they can call pride and I lose yet another day of mobility . I firmly think pride just wants to sell and not service thier products . I am not sure if I will ever buy another Pride product . They care about the end users of their products.BTW Amazon was good
