My skin was dry for most of my life, but started getting slightly oily during the warmer months in my late 20s. After I stopped breastfeeding my first child, my skin became dry and flaky again, acne-prone, and I developed eczema on my face. It was a total mess. This was recommended by my dermatologist because it's antibacterial while still hydrating and gentle. I was previously alternating between the CeraVe hydrating cleanser and PanOxyl for my acne. The PanOxyl was irritating my eczema and the CeraVe just wasn't very effective for my acne. This cleanser is the best of both worlds. I kind of didn't want to like it because it's a bit pricey and I stopped using it for a bit when my eczema finally cleared up and my skin went back to being normal to slightly oily. However, I really noticed a huge uptick in my acne flare-ups, so I ended up ordering a second bottle. The packaging is no frills and it's expensive for a cleanser, but it's really just the best for my troublesome skin. I use a small pump twice daily and oil cleanse to remove makeup before using this at night. The first bottle lasted me 3 months. I highly recommend trying this if you have acne, eczema, or weird skin issues.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I was looking for a face wash that I could use that wouldn't irritate my extremely sensitive skin. It was even more important as my daughter had brought impetigo home from school (thanks kiddo) which left the area around my nose even more sensitive and irritated than usual. So far this face wash has been a winner. It doesn't dry my skin out and also doesn't cause it to be red and blotchy the way that some do. As anyone with sensitive skin knows, YMMV, but overall this one has been great.

This is a great product. Highly recommended by my Dermatologist for regular use.

It cleans pores VERY well but drying over time. Maybe best for a once or twice a week use.

The best fascial cleanser

For two years I've been dealing with a skin condition on my face. It was always bumpy and itchy. At first I thought it might be hormonal and then I thought it might be allergy related. I even visited a dermatologist and tried some prescription medications that helped but the condition always came back. I was desperate so I started reading reviews about different skin products and this one caught my eye. I decided to try it, along with the CLn facial moisturizer, and within a week I could see a big improvement. I've been using it for almost two months now, twice a day, and my skin has gone back to normal and remains clear; no bumps, no itching! I've already set up a monthly delivery of these products to make sure I never run out. I definitely recommend this to anyone dealing with skin issues. The reviews I read did state that the moisturizer is not very hydrating and that it may make skin feel dry. My face did, at first, feel dry but within a couple of days it seemed to adjust and now it feels like the perfect amount of hydration. One additional benefit from using these products is that my makeup lasts longer now since the cleanser and moisturizer keep oily skin at bay.

This product makes my redness from my rosacea disappear like nothing has before!!! My dermatologist recommended the body wash version, and I saw they had a face wash so I confirmed that my dermatologist approves for me to use it. I wish it came in a bigger size, but it does last quite a while, especially compared to the body wash. It has a weird scent/taste, almost bitter? It lingers on your skin for a bit so I always warn my partner when I use it so he doesn’t kiss my face and taste it.
