Great quality for the price. My older dog uses steps to get into my Subaru Forester, so her nails are easy on the fabric. I can imagine if you had younger dogs jumping up onto the seat their nails could be hard on the fabric.

I’ve purchased three of these over the years. First one lasted 4 years, second one lasted 3 years and just replaced with a new one. The longevity was due to reworking straps with zip ties after a couple years. All of these were installed on 2003 Toyota Tacoma. Warranty is 6 months of manufacture defects:————their response to warranty question:“Hello Kenneth, Thank you for reaching out to us. Regarding your inquiry, in case of manufacturer's defects, we offer warranty coverage for up to 6 months after purchase. This does not cover the usual product wear and tear. If your dogs regularly accompany you on your road trips,the BarksBar Pet Car Seat Cover is simply an invaluable way to keep your seats clean. As the owner of a new puppy who occasionally gets car sick, the BarksBar seat cover has twice saved my leather seats from what could have been a nasty mess. It takes seconds to install or remove and it's very well made.The top surface of the cover where the dogs make contact with the cover is a black pleated polyester material, It's a little bit slippery, so my dogs did slip and slide around the back seat at first, when traveling around curves, but being smart dogs, they've now figured out how to to sit without sliding around. The upside is polyester top layer is very easy to clean. A damp cloth wipes up spills and mud tracks quickly.,The bottom of the cover features a layer of somewhat thick rubberized polyester. The backside of the cover also features two nylon loops fitted with round 4" plastic tubs that are wedged into the seat cushions, which secures the floor of the seat cover to the seat cushions. The tubes and the rubberized bottom allows the cover to remain flat at all times without bunching up and also prevents the cover from sliding on leather or vinyl car seats.The cover attaches to the front and rear headrest guides using rugged nylon loops secured by plastic snap clips. For my vehicle, the clips line up perfectly with the headrest. The nylon section that hangs from the front seat headrests forms a small separation wall between the front and rear seats that features a zipper that can be opened, allowing the dogs to travel freely between the front and back seats. Because this nylon section is does not have a soft frame, it sags somewhat when zipped up, but my dogs have found a way to utilize this sag. I have one medium (18 lb) and one small (8 lb) dog. They both like to sit on the back seat console (which is covered) for support, with their paws over the sagging portion and the rest of bodies inside the cover cover, They remain in their area, but they can see out the front window, they're sitting right next to my wife and I, and they're secured from sliding around.So far, I've washed the cover twice with no issues and no signs of deterioration. However, because of the rubberized material on the bottom, I will not put the cover in the dryer, electing to instead air dry the cover. The last thing I want to see is fragments of dried rubber laying at the bottom of my dryer or worse, on my car seats. One thing the seat doesn't do is eliminate dog hair, but because the cover overlaps my car seat by 1 inch on both sides, the dog hair is neatly deposited on the the carpet edge between the seat and the door jamb of my car making cleanup relatively easy.Overall, it's a very good product and I highly recommend it for pet proofing the back of your vehicle.

First let me say that I paid FULL PRICE for this. With our hard earned money. I did NOT get a discount for leaving a review. I'm a regular dog mom who has to actually buy her dog stuff, unlike 90% of the other people who write reviews on Amazon.I have been using this for around 2-3 weeks. And so far, ZERO ISSUSS!I bought this because my friend had let me borrow a hammock seat cover, similar to this one and I LOVED IT!!! Well, when I bought and installed this one, I loved it even more!! My 6mo lab border collie mix doesn't ever want to stay in the back seat.After reading a ton of reviews (mostly buy people who don't work for their products and get deep discounts or get the item for free), I honestly didn't even know which one to get because I don't trust those reviews.The only thing that sold me on this one, was the non-slip back! The one my friend lent to me didn't have this feature, and my pup would slide all over the back seat. This one stays in place perfectly!Another awesome feature I love, is the buckles that hold it around the headrests. The other one I tried just had slides that loosened or tightened and my pup would weigh it down and they would slide loose, making it pointless. This one doesn't do that. The buckles stay tight and hold everything in place.The stitching is of good quality (as far as I can tell) and it is also made from very durable material! My dog has an issue digging by the seatbelt holes with other covers, but this one has stayed nice and tightly closed around the seatbelt, with the Velcro, so far.Also this IS waterproof!!! I haven't dumped a gallon of liquid on it, but giving the dog water in the back seat has proved it definitely stands up to the claim of being waterproof.The one and only reason I gave this 4 and not 5 stars is, in my 2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee, the cover could be a little wider. Like 3-4" wider. It works totally great, but if it was just a little wider, it would completely cover down the sides of the seats, near the side doors. I do have an additional seat cover underneath this one, that isn't a hammock style, that I got from menards, so luckily, the width doesn't hinder me too much. In smaller cars, you shouldn't have an issue at all!If you're looking for an awesome seat protector, BUY THIS ONE!!!!
