Betta Shadowbox Aquarium Kit

I did a lot of research in looking for a cost effective fish tank with a purifier built in. I only have one goldfish, but if you have one, you know they create a dirty atmosphere. This fish tank was the perfect size for my little guy and I didn’t have to worry about purchasing a filter separately and installing it somehow. It was definitely the best bang for my buck. I’ve come to find that I LOVE that it has a light. Both a day time and night time light. We keep ours on all night and it’s the perfect night light.I did purchase a siphon to help with water changes. I think this is crucial. I tried emptying the water down my sink once and it was too heavy and I cracked the glass. I did my first water change yesterday with a siphon and it worked perfectly. The water filter isn’t loud, which you’ll typically find with purifier motors, which was a pleasant surprise.The one draw back is that when algae accumulates in the back compartment of the tank, it will be difficult to clean because it’s a very skinny area which my hand doesn’t fit in. Also, the knob for the water flow is in the bottom of this compartment, and difficult to reach. But there’s something to be said for me purchasing this tank again after I broke the first one even with these draw backs. I would recommend, especially for the quality and inexpensive price.

I bought this tank to replace a small tank for my goldfish that always looked dirty. This one’s filter is powerful! You can turn it down if it’s too strong for your fish but goldfish are dirty so I kept it on high. The back of the tank where all of the filter equipment is can be tedious however that’s the price you pay to have a tank that has everything built in and looks nicer then having equipment hanging off the back. But when doing a major clean but the usual swap out of the media is a breeze. I do change the filter media earlier then any recommendations because goldfish are so dirty. But the tank is always sparkling clean. The lights are bright and cover the entire tank. I can’t get over how low maintenance or how easy the maintenance is. The more you are on top of it the easier it is in the long run too though. One trick I have found out is if you have a heater sometimes the glass lid gets condensation. To avoid that you can slide the lid back a bit creating a gap so air can get in there. The cleaner the glass lid that is real easy to clean the better the light looks too. This would make a great tank for beginners or experienced fish tank owners. If you stay on top of the maintenance like water changes and filter media changes it’s really a great and convenient tank that looks awesome.

Great size if you are looking for a small tank for a Betta. Two light settings are nice. Easy to assemble. The top light fixture came bent because of the way it was put in the box. Good quality though.

Very surprised and impressed with this tank! Perfect size for a betta fish or a couple small tetras. Extremely easy to set up and the build quality is really solid. The pump is extremely quiet as well. I had to undo the hose to make sure it was even running. I do recommend starting it on the lowest setting as the suction can get a little strong so test it out first and make sure your fish isn’t fighting the current. Highly recommend this as a good looking simple little tank, especially for beginners!

You will not find a hidden filter/rimless style 3 gallon complete tank for less. It's definitely the best bang for your buck. However the blue light is on no matter what when you have the lights on. Your only opinions are blue night light, or white and blue day light or of course off. There is no just white, and that makes my fave always look a little weird and discolored. The filter system is okay, however it's a little noisy and not the most effective. The shape of the tank is a little awkward to clean as well. All that being said it's a very nice looking tank at a great price point, it's sleek and is a great betta/micro tank size and pretty good quality. So overall I do recommend it if you are on a budget. Otherwise I'd definitely upgrade if you have the funds.

I set this tank up as a breeder tank for neocaridina shrimp and ramshorn snails. Bought it because it was a good size tank for what I need it for, and because I wanted to try my hand at a built in sump. The sump style filter keeps this water absolutely pristine, and the base keeps it level so I don’t expect any leaks. All in all it really ties the room together, and will provide a happy home for my breeder cleanup crew.

The aquarium has been fine but the mechanical part if the filter is horrible. It sprays water from the connections. It just doesn’t work.

The led light are not in properly shape, air pump failed after 6 hrs. Very disappointed with the product. Was looking forward to put my fluorescent tetras in it.

El tamaño es perfecto para un pez betta y aunque las insutuccoones para instalar mi son muy claras, no fue tan difícil. Tiene luz blanca y azul y yo tal vez lo cambiaría por luz negra para mejores colores.No es conpletamentw silenciosa pero no hace tanto ruido.Lo único que no le gustó nada es que viniera en una caja blanca y no en la caja original lo que le hace pensar que o no era nueva o no era de primera calidad

Me gustó el tamaño para mi Betta materiales de buena calidad, tiene luz, bomba, filtro, está perfecta.

Está muy bonita la pecera tal cual como la muestran, es relativamente pequeña como para 4-5 pecesitos máximo, le cambiaría el motor porque es muy pequeño y hace un poco de ruido. Lo demás está muy bien

Tengo 6 meses con esta pecera y se me está desfondando, se le sale el agua por abajo y no vemos que pudo pasarle ya que no nos pasamos de agua.
