No-Sew Temporary Fabric Glue Sticks, .28oz 2-Pack

I was pleased with results. I tried using "school" glue sticks but they didn't stick well. This glue stick works, and you can use a thin amount with successful results. Used to adhere binding to a quilt before sewing it. Easy to use with no mess.

I recently began my journey with English paper piecing and I was looking for a fabric glue to baste my hexagons for my project. This glue works really well. I started off using regular school purple glue stick and while it worked it dried sort of gummy and hard so when I saw Aleene's had a fabric glue stick I figured id try it out. It dries clear and soft. I like that you get two in a pack and the price is reasonable. Aleene's always has great adhesives.

I use Aleene's Temporary Fabric Glue Sticks for temporarily basting fabric together, especially when hemming, which can be tricky for me. This glue stick helps me fold hems without relying on a lot of pins, and it seems safe to use with my sewing machine, which is a big plus. However, the glue stick is quite thick, which makes it difficult to apply in smaller areas without getting glue where it doesn’t belong. I really wish they offered a thinner, pencil-sized version to make it easier to apply just the right amount of glue in tighter spots. Overall, it’s a handy product, but a slimmer design would make it even better for precision work.

Used it to fix Xmas appliques on my tops. Worked perfect, held up and left no residue.

I like this glue the best…better than saline.

This glue works ok, but not to good at holding fabric and zipper tape together. It helps, somewhat, but not as good as I hoped. About the same as school glue sticks, that are cheaper. Takes a minute to dry, with clips holding it in place. It’s ok.

I’ve bought this pack about 4 times for far. I make a lot of baby/children’s clothes using various weight knit fabrics and this is amazing for holding the fabric together and allows me to sew perfect lines when matching and sewing seams together.
