Will it help with acetone stain?

What I’m sure your seeing is not a stain, acetone would of removed some of the varnish or protective coat giving you patches, so depending on the size of the area and location it shouldn’t be a problem. The approach would be to make a paste using hard wax, start with a couple of drops of the closest shade, and increase the wax paste/restore a finish ratio until you get a good blend, let it sit for a few minutes, buff. and repeat if you need too.

Have an old dresser turning into bathroom vanity. color is dark and matching stain looks like gooseberry. What color do I use?

Will rub on transfers adhere to finished wood?

I used this product on our front door which was slightly weathered & dull, but still had a finish on it. It soaked into the finish & the door looks much better.
