Great EDC companion
I use it mainly to open boxes (from Amazon ;)), work just fine, easy to replace blades, well constructed.

All time favorite knife
My only knife, professional Chef, use it a million times a day on boxes, labels, endless kitchen tasks. Light weight yet incredibly sturdy. Love the size. The design is amazing and every little nook and cranny is exactly where it needs to be, used to think i would change this or that about it but its perfect. I wish they'd make variations of this model. 2.0 or something, anything! haha love this knife so much, the prybar is great and I can use it to scrape the hell out of everything. It's never failed, w-d 40 that mofo every once in a while. Never have to sharpen, don't know what else to say.

Adventure Xacto©
I don't know why, but I use Xacto© knives a lot. The problem is, I'm misplacing them all the time. So I bought this hoping I would always be able to lay my hands on it. And so far, it's worked. I've been able to find it when I need it. I added it to my camping box and have found it very useful in the camper as well. Even used the pry bar function recently! This, like most of the Gerber tools I own, is very high quality. The blade, when fully extended, is a little loose and wobbly, which is a little annoying, but by no means a deal breaker. It carries easy in your 5th pocket if you so choose, but I just keep it where I can find it with a sharp blade installed and it just makes me happy. Gerber makes good stuff and if you have a need for this type of blade you can't go wrong with this little knife.

Best little multi tool to keep on you for whatever little things needed to be done. Work and home.

Dec 2021- November 2025 (updated) and still going
I've had this on my Keychain for n̶e̶a̶r̶l̶y̶ o̶v̶e̶r̶ ̶3̶ *4* years now, and it still gets used multiple times a week, sometimes daily. The pry bar edge is great, excellent for scraping and flathead screws as well. The easily changed exacto blade stays locked in until you're ready to use or change it. The bottle opener has yet to fail me. It's heavy enough to know it's there and light enough not to care. Durability 10/10, longevity 10/10, usefulness and versatility 10/10. I keep a morakniv 511 on my hip and this on my keys and between the two it's basically everything I've ever needed for edc.

My Most Used EDC Item Ever
This is hands down my most used EDC item of all time. The one pictured here is brand new but if you look closely, it has already been used within minutes of opening the package... lol! This small blade/pry bar combo is so handy I've bought this item many times over and placed it in several areas of my life. I use this thing daily both at home and at work to open boxes, cut paper, trim plastic, trim wood, remove support material from 3D prints, scrape surfaces, "hand-carve", etc. The best part is that when the blade gets dull you can either replace it or re-sharpen it with sandpaper!! I have one particular Prybrid X blade I have resharpened more than 20 times and it just keeps going. The prybar I also use to open tough closures from small boxes, remove hard to reach batteries, pry material stuck to a flat surface, as a flat screwdriver, to remove staples, open paint cans, etc. I usually prefer Leatherman tools, but this particular Gerber tool is by far my most used tool ever. It's so small, slim and lightweight that you can fit it in your pants' fifth pocket and not even notice it's there until you need it. Never leave or stay home without it. Thank you Gerber. CONS: 1) About 1 out of 10 of these tools have a blade mechanism that is difficult to deploy. They do seem to get easier to deploy over time. My worst offending one in this regard was made whole by Gerber sending me a new one free of charge. 2) When trying to cut through thick material the blade can accidentally come out of the holder and remain stuck in the material. So please be careful with this. When this happens, it typically means this is the wrong tool for the job and so you need a bigger more secure blade.

Go to EDC tool
This has been my go-to EDC tool for over a year. Overall, it's a fantastic lightweight and well built blade, made with quality and durable materials. The Fiskars #11 blade is incredibly sharp, and the bottle opener and prybar are great for opening boxes without having to open the blade. I love the small profile of the tool, which allows me to slip it in the front pocket of any pants without creating a noticeable bulge.

Solid product, some corners cut
Solid product I have been waiting for since the discontinued the Artifact model. Love the replaceable x-acto blade. Their production is a busy suspect. It’s obvious that the tool was blued (darkening of the metal to the black color) after it was assembled. Obvious that an entire face was left untreated and then assembled. Leaves a distinct line around the untreated edge. The center spacing inserts are already worn… out of the package. I’m going to EDC this lil guy so it doesn’t matter too much to me, but the Artifact was $9.99 and I would prefer that model. For as much as this cost, I expect better production value from Gerber. First time I have been disappointed when opening a package from them. Again, still a solid product, but too expensive for what you get.

Awesome tool for your pocket
I don't know why others are complaining about the button I love it. It's hard enough that you can't activate accidentally in your pocket, but still easy to deploy. The prybar is nice and solid, the whole thing is bigger than I expected (That's what she said).

disappointing quality and design
I have both the Gerber Prybrid X and its big brother, the Gerber Prybrid. Both suffer from the same flaws. The button for extending the blade is stiff and requires a concentrated effort to manipulate successfully. After a lot of oiling and wearing in, the Prybrix X is slightly better than the larger model Prybrid. Both had sharp, unfinished edges on the metal of the tools. They required smoothing down with a file. I removed the annoying cord that wrapped the lower part of the prybrid X and replaced it with my own flatter, tighter, longer cord that enveloped the sharp tools on the bottom and turned them into a decent handle. Gerber should spend a little time trying to use its own tools.

Very hard open action; another useless product by gerber, no customer support, especially Australia.
Only a very strong man can open the blade action on this prybar, it is extremely hard to operate and hurts the toughest of hands to use, most people cannot open the action to use the blade! Would certainly not buy from Gerber again, nor recommend their products to anyone, it is rubbish!

Pequeña y funcional
No es un cuter de velocidad, es segura pues debes realizar algo de esfuerzo y técnica para deslizar la hoja. Un poco inferior a su hermana hecha en USA. Buena hoja fina para cortes precisos.
