These really worked for me. We have a new home in a new wooded development. There were hundreds of annoying chipmunks, and ground moles all over our lawn. I didn't want to kill them so I tried capturing and transporting them away and they either found their way back or others moved in. I saw these online and figured I had nothing to lose. After one season no ground moles and the chipmunks have disappeared except for one occasionally passing through. I also used to kill 6 to 8 grass snakes a year I have no idea if they were effected but I only had one and the beginning of last season and none so far this year. I have 8 of these spread out around the perimeter that I leave out all year and the buzzing can be annoying so I turn them off midsummer.

Do not waste your time or money on these. I’ve used them for over a month now, and gophers are still digging holes all around them. I bought eight of these things and place them within close proximity of each other. Unfortunately, the return window has closed for me. I’d offer to sell you mine at half price, but I can’t knowingly rip somebody off like that.

These solar-powered ultrasonic repellant sticks REALLY work! We have a healthy population of ground squirrels around our property that we wish to keep away from our house and barn. We won't use rodenticides as these are not only cruel but can cause other species to be poisoned (owls, hawks, foxes, badgers, and other predators who eat rodents). I have been using these devices successfully every summer. It's important to make sure they are in a place that gets sunlight all day, of course, and install the stake portion deep enough into the ground as the directions state. They make a gentle beep sound periodically that's only audible when you are close to the device (15' or less? very approximate measurement). For effective, safe ground squirrel control, these devices are the best!

I like because it goes off on its own due to being solar powered. It works! Placed in the ground and deters moles or ground squirrels

Poor choice. Over the last 4 years, we have purchased several packs of these. The first pack of 8 were fabulous! drove the moles right out of our yard. However, time and weather, plus destroying them with the mower or weed eater, required us to buy more. No problem! The way the original ones worked, we would be glad to buy them yearly. the replacements were not as loud, which means they are not as effective. Ultrasonic systems work, but they have to be loud! These have been de-graded too much to do anything without placing them 8 feet apart.

We had what seemed to be like a herd of moles burrowing under our lawn and tried the stuff you spread on lawn to kill the grubs that the moles eat etc...and yet they still ruined our front lawn etc. These things worked...can get a little annoying when it is quiet out but small price to pay for being able to have a decent lawn, and without the poisons.

Bought 4 for my backyard. Started with them near my front yard & after a few days there was evidence of gophers being repelled 45' away. Left one in my front lawn because I never wanted gophers to do what they did to my backyard. moved the other three 20' towards the backyard which repelled them 20' more after a couple weeks. I thought these were making progress until the top clear plastic piece started to show signs of aging from the sun(?). It got cloudy & then brittle. The top plastic piece that protects the insides from the elements would no longer stay on three of them. The others are right. As soon as they stop working, they come back. Never used chemicals before this last year's invasion. Caught 7 with traps & hopefully more with pellets.

I have used these solar mole deterrents for a few weeks now. I have placed them in 4 areas of my front yard. They emit a low sound that is not annoying to people, but seems to be working on the mole problem I have. I used to see where moles would cause upraised trails all over my yard. I placed two on one side (spaced out) beside my driveway and two on the other side (spaced out). I know they are helping because I've barely seen any activity in the yard now. The only places I have seen any mole activity are a good distance away from these devices and that activity has been minimal (may need one more for front yard). I have almost an acre-sized yard so I will need to order a few more of these to protect my back yard, also. So far, I feel that they are worth the money!
