Hi friend, the iMAC(27-inch, late 2013) only has thunderbolt port, not mini dp port, so it couldn't work. You need to buy a thunderbolt 3 to thunderbolt adapter and thunderbolt cable on Apple, there have not thunderbolt 3 to thunderbolt cable on the market , only Apple.
