Not so sure about this one from Elie Saab
The original Elie Saab is one of my top 3 go-to fragrances. I own a few flankers which I enjoy using, and so treated myself to this one. I'm quite disappointed with this one, though. It doesn't have much of the original Elie Saab DNA, and is quite lacklustre. The perfumer is Maïa Lernout, who also created the Le Parfum Royal Elie Saab flaker which I like and enjoy wearing. However this addition veers so far away from the DNA of the original that it bears little to any resemblance. I am disappointed with this purchase and if you're looking for a fragrance that smells like the original with a twist, then I recommend you avoid this purchase.
