Bit works well on porcelain tile.
I had six holes to drill in a quarter inch shower tile for a grab bar. Bit worked great for three holes then started to get dull even with a slow speed and water being added regularly. Compared to other bits I purchased at a local home improvement store this bit worked great and other bits didnโt even start to penetrate the tile.I did find after five holes that the bit seemed to work better if I pulled the speed on and off and changed pressure slightly keep in mind you donโt want to drill at a high speed or with too much pressure. Overall a very good product.

Great bit
Last time i tried to drill through Porcelain I used a cheap bit from the local hardware store which took 45 minutes to drill one hole. For this project I decided to spend the money on a good bit because I had 6 holes to drill for my shower door installation. Wow what a difference, i had all 6 holes drilled in twenty minutes and that included the time to double check the bit placement and alignment. Actual drill time was roughly 1 minute per hole! Just keep it wet and this thing drills through it like butter..Great product!!

Good at first.
The first few holes were very fast. didn't have the option of constant water surging onto the bit. Had to use a spray bottle. In porcelain tile it cut fast at first but under less than idea conditions it overheated and shattered. If you can't give it constant cooling it seems like it won't last. Quite expensive.

Completely disappointed with this product and the price is a joke for what it does
I can get a set of drill bits for the cost of one of these and I had high expectations but it was ridiculous.I was not even going through hard porcelain it was simply marble and with proper water flow and drill speed it took 20 minutes for 1 hole. I then used a $3 diamond bit from Amazon that did the job in 60 seconds per hole for the next 7.Do not waste your money.
User
Not very fast
After a few minutes of using this bit, the progress really slows down. Best used in tandem with a Neiko diamond-coated hole saw to speed up your project. This Armeg bit works well for starting or enlarging a hole, but is not fast enough for drilling an entire hole on its own. I tried water cooling it as much as I could, but I think the bit still dulled in just a few minutes.

Two Stars
Breaks in a first hole

Couldn't have done the job without this!
Needed to drill 20 holes in porcelain tile shower to install shower, grab bars, etc. Masonry bit slid around and couldn't penetrate tile. This bit can drill through porcelain in about 2 minutes if you regularly dunk it in cold water to keep it cooled. Greatest product ever!

Drills through porcelain tile like butter!
This tool works great cuts through porcelain tile like it's butter. I highly recommend it to anyone who is wanting to make easy work when drilling through porcelain tile. One caveat though make sure you use a corded High RPM drill. Battery operated drills are just not fast enough.
