Drill America 2"-11-1/2" NPT Pipe Tap , Carbon Steel, DWTPT Series

I needed this specific tap to restore threads on my rv water heater. I could not get a new anode to start in the worn and corroded threads in the heater housing. This tap arrived in time and worked to restore the threads to allow installing the replacement anode. I saved several hundred dollars over the prospect of having to replace the entire unit. Though I didn't have the correct tap handle for this size, I was readily able to turn it using an adjustable wrench. Very satisfied with this purchase and seller!

Did a great job

I only needed this to work once to chase threads on a drain for my air compressor (drain cock broke and i had to carefully drill it out but still damaged the threads). The one time i used it, it worked perfect and I'm back in action.

My RV hot water tank drain plug had rusted. Was having issues screwing in the drain plug die to rusted threads. Used this to re-tap the threads and it worked perfectly. Saved me a fortune on having to have it replaced
