Clover Amour is a little higer priced than your average hook, but worth every single penny. There are some bargains on here that look a lot like them, but they do not feel like them. Yes, those bargains they have a similar ergonomic grip with a color for each size but that is where the similarities end. Clover is a hybrid hook. Ever wish your tapered hook had just a little more point or your inline hook eased into those tight stitches just a little easier? You know you've pictured that Bates/Boye love child. A hook that doesn't bulge larger than the neck and no chance of working into that tight foundation chain. A hook that has a taper so subtle it keeps your gauge under control like an inline. A throat that is deep enough to really hold onto that loop, but not so deep it snags on the pull-through. Yes, yes, and yes. But Baby B/B has a leg up on both parents. The finish on these hooks is flawlessly smooth. Seriously, they must be coated with magic. You won't feel any drag or hear the squeak with these. Add it up. Easy into the stictch+easy pull through+no drag=faster and more consistent stitches. Like I said, worth every penny more than the bargain look-alike set. If you don't believe me and don't want to risk buying a whole set, start here with a single number six (or size of your preference and pair it with that yarn you kinda hate but you guess it's OK because the colors are amazing and sure it's a little scratchy, but it's not rubbing your fingers raw so it's OKish. It will make that big box abundant yarn just a little bit better with the glide assist these hooks give. If it doesn't live, you've got a moderately priced back up in your favorite size. No harm no foul. But when, not if, it does live up to the hype, skip this one by one stuff and get the full set. I bought this as it was recommended highly by a friend of mine who is an expert at crocheting. I used it to finish crocheting a macrame cord tote bag. The cord was hurting my hands and this hook was a game changer. No pain and the bag came out great.

I’ve been crocheting for a little over a year, and my gateway into crochet was the Woobles kits. Each one of those comes with a specialized hook so as I’ve attempted new kinds of projects, outside of amigurumi, I’ve always just used those hooks because a lot of of the projects use the 4.0 mm size. But as I’ve started watching crochet YouTube channels just to learn tips and tricks and reviews and things like that I kept hearing about Clover Brand hooks and how they were such a game changer. I thought my experience with the hooks from the Woobles kits worked fine, but I’d be curious. So I wanna win. I bought this and it just arrived today. Holy cow! I had no idea how much drag I was getting off those other hooks. This glides like silk. It’s incredible how much faster I’m able to crochet with such a smooth hook! I also bought a 3.5 mm clover soft touch. I haven’t used that much because I’ve been so focused on a picnic blanket that I’ve been working on which uses a 4.0 but I’m really intrigued to see how the 3.5 works on a future project. It is a little bit more expensive than what you can get on Amazon, but I assure you that the quality of the hook makes up for the price.

No es económico, pero tiene muy buena calidad. Es cómodo y muy ligero, ça.lana desliza muy bien y el cuello es bastante largo y fino, lo que permite hacer puntos bien cerrados cuando se requiere, cosa muy importante en Amigurumi. Me gusta mucho esta línea de ganchillos de Clover.
