I ended up with snails on accident. My son found a snail that we kept in a terrarium for a couple of weeks. We let it go. A couple of weeks later, we discovered a whole bunch of baby snails. We decided to keep them until they were a little bigger. They love lettuce, cucumber and snail food! We thought we would provide them with a healthy option so they could grow strong and big. They really like the snail food! I'm so glad I bought it.

My snail loves this food soooooo much!! Whenever he’s awake I put some in his food tray and he leaves no good behind! Perfect!

So I recently got a young rosy wolf snail from outside my house a week ago. Little did I know I would learn to come and love snails. When I first found out this kind of snail only eats other snails and slugs I was rather disappointed because that would be much harder to find for my snail, and now that it’s cold weather ever harder. I tried everything from lettuce to mealworms, he will not eat anything. I bought this as a last hope, and I am not sure he likes it, but he glides around in it either way because I have it sprinkled all over the terrarium. So at least he’s getting something. If someone has any tips let me know. Thank you!

They can't eat enough!

I would definitely recommend the Land Snail Food from My Happy Snails! As you can see by the video I shared, my snails love it! Also love the informative instructions that were included, I can tell that My Happy Snails really do care about the snails and their well being! Thanks for making a great product!

LOVE this snail food! My land snails gobble it up! We call it snail crack cause they love it. Their shells are hard and they’re healthy since eating this product. We’ve been using it for over a year and never had any issues...except keeping it in stock because they love it!

I really wanted to love this product. It came perfectly packaged with very detailed instructions, a personal note, and a gift of free calcium sticks inside. However, it doesn't work for my snails. I have 1 adult Grove snail (aka lemon or brown banded snail) that would not even touch this food. Granted, this guy doesn't like most foods my other snails happily eat, and I was trying to find something I can feed him with, but this wasn't it. I tried mixing this snail food powder with some crushed oatmeal (the only food my grove snail loves) and he sorta nibbled on it, but mostly tried picking out the pieces of oatmeal that didn't get completely crushed and covered in this snail food. I also have several tiny garden snails that were born inside the terrarium and happily eat pretty much anything - fruits, veggies, seeds, oatmeal, you name it. They also don't love this snail food, but seem to at least try it when mixed with crushed oatmeal. Aside from the fact that my snails hate this food, my biggest problem with it is that it ONLY LASTS 2 HOURS (MAX 3) IN THE TANK - otherwise it spoils and can kill your snail, as clearly indicated in the instructions that came with this food (see photo). In fact, I did lose my largest garden snail to what I suspect was poisoning from this food after I forgot to promptly remove it from their tank and left it there overnight. So, unless you have snails that come "running" to the food the second you place it there, you will likely end up throwing out whatever food you gave them before they even get a chance to taste it. On top of that, you have to carefully monitor the time you placed the food into the tank so you don't kill your snails, and if your snails like to hide during the day (like my grove snail), that means you have to wait until it's night time to place this food there and hope that they will eat it during the next 3 hours before you have to remove it from the tank, so you can't just leave it in the tank and go to sleep, making this food extremely impractical.
