We have ~ 8ft l x 4ft w x1 ft d koi pond with ~25 koi and gold fish. We have been using 2 pump/filter sets that we typ had to clean once evry 2-3 weeks, sometime more often in the summer. All that time we have been battling algies and water clarity. I had not idea what a difference UV light can make! After installation, the water cleared up in a day. Of course, the flow rate slowed down quicky at first and I cleaned the filter after a couple of days. Now it's been more than two weeks and the water stays clear and still flowing very well. Assmbly/dissassmbly is pretty easy although instructions are not very clear wrt cover screw. After cleaning the filter I left it untightened to facilitate quick cover removal and cleaning the fitler, and so far I don't think it makes that much difference in cover seal as sides snaps are pretty snug. The price is great in my opinion, as pump & fitler set with similar flow rate that you can find in typ harder store would cost you much more.

This cleared up the green tinted water 72+ hours, now we have a bigger pond. The fish absolutely love the water fountain and swim underneath it constantly. The best product for the money!!

I had one of these pond filters in a little fish pond in our front yard, and it worked really well. Then we moved to a new house and I dug a new fish pond...and got a different pump with no UV sterilizer, and the pond became like pea soup, so full of algae plankton that I couldn't see the fish. Then that one died and I replaced it with another Vivohome filter, and within a week or two the water was crystal clear again. Don't make the mistake of buying a pond filter with no UV sterilizer! Unless of course you like opaque green water in your pond and don't like seeing the fish.

The filter has a pretty good flow, it puts out a lot of water, but I don't like that I cannot turn off the UV light. The only way to run the filter without UV is to remove the UV bulb entirely. It's not too difficult of a process, but it's still a hassle when there could have easily been a separate power cord with a switch for the light. It's not always a good idea to run UV bulbs full time, especially in smaller ponds. I'm using this in my indoor goldfish pond, and I don't have a lot of algae so I don't want the UV on full time. Other than that, it's a pretty good filter. It has a good amount of bio media, which is nice, and the sponge is large and does a reasonably good job of catching debris. It's not the easiest thing to clean though. You have to hall the whole thing out of the pond, unscrew the spout, and unclamp the top before you can get to the sponge. Don't forget there is a small screw that comes factory installed that keeps the top on! You must remove that the first time you open it up. I see no reason to put it back in though, the clamps hold it fine. Anyway, all in all, it does a pretty good job.

I love this pump, it works great. I clean it every couple weeks.

This product worked just as others claimed. I have a 7×3×3 pond with 7 feeder goldfish in it for now. With the pump doing so well I feel confident in getting some koi. It was a smidgen difficult to put together but only bc the directions left a little to be desired. Once it was in the pind it was a matter of hours before it was clear. Very easy to clean the filter and I love the fountain with different heads for flow options. Would highly recommend, so far so good.

I keep writing this review but it keeps getting sent back telling me to edit it. Why because its bad? Can we no longer give bad reviews? First, let's start with the screw that you have to remove to get the cover off that isn't mentioned anywhere not on the product, in the instruction manual or on their website. And why is it needed? I received this item missing all the connector parts. I contacted the company and was told they would overnight them to me. Instead I recieved an email asked me to take pictures of the item and the missing pieces. I emailed a picture of the owners book with everything circled. Then another email asking me for the order number because they couldn't find it. They found it when I called before they asked for pictures. Day 4 I called again - on hold for an hour. They have never responded and no replacement parts ever came. I called Amazon and they said I had to go through the company. I told them I tried that. They sent me a replacement which again came with no parts and no instructions. Neither of them were opened so Vivohome failed not Amazon. I purchased parts to allow me to conect it to my waterfall but couldnt find any fountain parts that fit without it costing as much as the entire thing. Three weeks lster I installed it and the UV light doesn't work and it barely pumps water. The last pump I had lasted 18 years and was a quarter of the size of this thing. I'm now told I can't return it because it's used and missing parts. I'm out $70 plus another $27 in parts that I had to buy. I tried to find instructions on how to replace the lamp there are none. But there is a warning in the manual thst if the lamp is damaged that the producy is useless and should be thrown away. I sent snother message to Vivohome no response. HORRIBLE SELLER! It has a 1 year warranty but since I can't reach them I get nothing?

Works great. Keeps my fishpond very clean. Very easy setup. The only noise I hear is the water which I wanted. Love the way I can adjust the fountain heights. Would definitely buy again.

Super fast delivery, easy to set up, and works like a dream. Bought to replace an old Laguna system for my 250 gallon trough pond The all in one system is so much easier, the light has cleaned up the green water, and the pump is powerful. I also appreciate the length of the power cord. Thanks!

Decent filter cleaned fish pond within five days. Only issue is have to clean it out once weekly.

Amazing and easy to use! The filter works great and I got great compliments on the water fountain.

The filter didn't do much after running for a whole day. I started to investigate why. One reviewer noted that only part of the filtered water goes through the ultraviolet light. I thought that could be the reason why my algae wasn't cleared. I found an inlet hole hidden under the inlet pipe before the pump. I blocked that hole with tape. Doing this reduces water flow but forces all filtered water to go through the ultraviolet light. This mod worked nicely. The algae was killed effectively. My muddy tank cleared within half a day after my mod.

works awesome! Lots of parts but its easy to clean. i like the versatility of being able to set the depth and angle of the spout. my pond went from green and algae filled, to crystal clear within the week, so the filtration and UV light work great! would recommend!
