Good quality
Very happy with this cable. Material used feels good quality. I like the push to release, stops any accidental tugs and lose cables being pulled.

Cable Matters make some really good cables and this is no exception. It's exactly as described and is definitely DP 1.4. Lock feature is a nice to have.

PERFECT! but some durability issues
Functionalally, this cable is perfect. If your set up rarely moves, its absolutely fine. I regularly move my pc between set ups and the pins that keep the cable in place do not retract with the button anymore. Meaning I have to pull my cable with some force out of my PC , which is so painful considering the gpu is high end and this issue isnt covered by warranty. Overall, the cable comfortably plays QHD at 144hz with absolutely no connection issues, ... it's a cable, and its reliable at being a cable. It may just be my unit.

This cable is not DisplayPort 1.4 and the title is so shady
This is my first ever review on Amazon and I couldn't stand idly by without posting this review. This cable is NOT a DisplayPort 1.4 cable. DisplayPort 1.4 is a standard which this cable is to supposedly meet but it does not. Buried in the description, there is some misleading info that invalidates that this cable is in fact not DisplayPort 1.4 as it doesn't support the standard. Do not buy this cable if you are looking to use 1440p @240Hz. This cable is shakey at best with 1080p @240Hz. I have tried it on multiple monitors and it doesn't render any higher than 60hz. Disgraceful that this item is allowed to stay on Amazon for so long in this state.

Works like any other.
The button on each side of the cable isnt very tactile, and i cant ever tell if its pressed down or not.
