Got it in and the top piece was missing I looked everywhere. No where to be found the main piece is missing. such a rip off

I got this for my sister’s family. I like the safety feature ( avoid to explode ) with the handle that locks really well. Cuts the time of cooking. I own a couple of this type of cooking gadgets. Perfect for soups and other ways. I like to start a whole chicken for few minutes just to seal in the moistness then transfer it in the oven to brown and crisps the skin. Sooo good! . My sister and her husband thanked me, they love it!

Amazon can increase its selection of shippable pressure cookers. It’s a good value and I e used it successfully but the design leaves much to be desired. Compare it to Vinod pressure cooker design. This Hawkins: is a good size ( I would not buy anything smaller if you want to get a good pressure inside the cooker) but the lid design is strange and takes awhile to practice with. The top of the cooker is curved in so stacking containers inside is insanely tricky coupled with the way the lid has to be fitted in. Almost impossible to fit 2 containers inside. I purchased it when traveling and it does the job with the high pressure cooking needs plus it’s lightweight yet strong enough to pressure cook. Plus is it’s lightweight enough to put inside a suitcase and travel .
