I use this to mix it with my toddler's budesonide to coat his esophagus to treat his Eosinophilic Esophagitis. He tolerates it well and it works great to carry the medicine.

This stuff is amazing. My 6 month old has FPIES. We have struggled to keep weight in him during FPIE episodes. He is breastfed and I’m on a strict diet. We tried all AA formula and he reacted to them all. This is the only source of nutrition outside of breastmilk that doesn’t make him react. GI sent a prescription for us and we’re waiting for that to go through so I purchased several out of pocket. Within the first week he was up an entire pound. He eats 3, 1/2 servings a day so one can lasts about a week for now. This stuff is a miracle. I’m so thankful for it.

This is a medical food that you SPOON feed your baby, the consistency is on the thicker side (but it depends how you dissolve it). You can add formula, breast milk, or water. The taste is good, on the sweeter side. Very surprised as most elemental formulas taste like iron. I have it a try after I read one review saying it’s sweet and tasty. It really is!It took my bb couple of days to learn to eat it but as long as he eats it he gains weight.I started with 2 scoops 3 times per day and than slowly increased scoops number. We cannot use formula as my baby doesn’t tolerate most food, plus we struggle with a reflux and if he ingests too much Liquid he spits/vomits everything back. At some point bb was reacting so bad to my breast milk that’s he had diarrhea and stopped gaining weight, his breast milk intake was than too small, and because of his food sensitivities/allergies we couldn’t just introduce solids. Elemental formulas didn’t work too, the taste is too bad for bb to drink it. This was the only option we had. 700grams gained after a month of use when Feed 4 times a day, 1.5 ounce of food. Will definitely buy again, until my bb overcome his food sensitivities and reflux, though the price is ridiculous.Tip for parents: I recommend to make smaller portions and feed bb right away. The food contains rice starch and after literally couple of minutes the consistency thickens and some babies may not like it!

Having to be on elemental feeds is no fun, and most of my nutrition is through tube feeds, but this cereal, even unflavored, tastes fine, and it is the only thing that helps quench the hungry rumbling feeling in my belly. I wish it were less expensive, but all of these formulas are pricey.

Neocate nutra really helps my little one since she is sensitive to rice and whole wheat products. This helps give her what she needs along with other foods for the day. My daughter also has GERD along with dairy intolerance she has a very sensitive tummy so this product really helps us out along with neocate it's self so I love neocate all together.
