Love it, Better Than Expected
After not using my dvd player for a couple years I decided to go through and sort them out only to find the batteries immersed in corrosion. This GUANG replacement Sony Blu-Ray remote with the cure. It did all the functions of the player and then some. The surprise came when I clicked on my Denon soundbar it also controlled the basic functions such as on/off and volume. I could not be more pleased with its unexpected two for one Sony remote.

Can use remote on old DVD players.
This remote worked with my old DVD player. Thought I had to buy a new DVD player but this remote permitted access to newer movies.

Works like a charm!
I've used the original for a lot of years. Then one day, it quit working! I couldn't understand it! The batteries were as fresh as they could be, but still, nothing! Anyway, I tried this strange method I found on the internet, hoping it would work. I took the batteries out, pressed all the buttons on the remote twice, put the batteries back in the remote, pressed the power button, and again, nothing! Why did I go with that bizarre method? LOL! Anyway, I finally ordered a replacement remote for a very cheap price. Works perfectly! Thanks Amazon for getting me out this situation!

Worked Like a Charm on a 20-Year-Old Player
I was surprised this remote worked perfectly with our old Sony DVD/Blu-Ray player that’s at least 20 years old. We had lost the original remote and this replacement brought it back to life instantly.The layout is simple, the buttons are responsive, and it didn’t require any setup—just popped in batteries and it worked right away.The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is that it feels a little lighter and less sturdy than the original remote, but for the price and the fact that it works flawlessly on such an old device, I’m impressed.
