Great cheap caliper paint!
Used this on my E90 BMW. Calipers look really good. Has a great ceramic coated finish. Super easy to use and not messy. I personally did not tape anything off because it was that easy. Also plenty of paint to do another car or two.

Best Paint Ever - Calibers Look Coated & Professionally Done
This paint worked great and I really love the finish. It appears professionally coated rather than painted. My calibers were rusted a bit so I brushed them then used the included caliber cleaner. I then used a rust converter, waited about an hour, then painted using this Dupli-Color paint. The paint goes on smooth. I waited 20 minutes and painted on a second coat. It's the second coat that really shows how great this product is. Then you have to wait for 2 hours before putting the tires back on and 24 hours for the paint to cure before driving. Now a few thoughts: I had to use a few brushes not included in this kit, a 1 inch brush and a slightly smaller brush; the brush they give you in the kit is useless, throw it away. They give you a paint stir-stick...you don't need it, just shake up the can for a minute or so. Wear gloves and put a plastic sheet under each wheel, this is a serious paint and it will stay where it spills. Go slow and use a good light, you want to paint all the nooks and crannies. Don't paint any rubber pieces and don't paint your rotors, just the calibers. Preparation is super important, get all that rust off or use a rust converter. The can of paint is small but it's enough to paint probably 12-16 calibers, FAR more than just the 4 I did. A little goes a long way and it just about flows on. I can't tell you how great these calibers look. They look professionally coated. That ceramic paint is excellent. Hard as nails, bright red, shiny. Worth every penny. Buy this product, you will NOT regret it.

Good product.
Worked well, fairly easy to apply. Would be a 5 but the masking tape was missing in the package.

Maybe not the best of all kits but made mine look awesome
I have to say this is the first calipper paint kit I ever gotten . And if I were to paint anymore calippers this would be the kit I would get. I would advice you to remove the bolts holding the calippers and paint the calipper and holders separately. It will make them look so much better. Not to mention you wont make a mess. I would also say that this isn't a "fast" or "quick" project. Prep work is a must. Very time consuming. Sand the calippers really good so that you see the clean metal, this will make the paint stay. Also use the calipper cleaner get a break cleaner from an auto part store, they are basically the same thing. Tape all holes and all those spots which shouldn't get any paint. The paint is enough to paint all four calippers twice and even for touch ups. Don't forget to get a art paint brush kit. Because the brush on this kit is just awful for the job. Also get painters tape (for the love of god get a decent painters tape, 2 dollar tape will not do) . Even tho the tape on the kit is awesome it's not enough. Let the paint dry completely before handling between layers of paint. You won't like it if the paint gets all over your hands. Even though this should've been mention on the first paragraphs, lift all four wheels to get ALL 4 calippers at once. The car will not be able to moved during the project so might as well get all 4 done at once. <<<this is very important, the reason I say this is because I decided to do the front ones first and the next week the rear ones. Big mistake I couldn't go out for two weekends. Good luck on making your calippers look good. I've gotten a lot of compliments even from my boss because they look really nice

Very happy, and sharp looking results!
I painted my calipers and rotors last August and wanted to give it the winter to see how it held up before I wrote the review. I'm completely happy with this product. First thing...prep, Prep, PREP! Any paint work is only going to be as good as your prep. Like building a house, if the foundation isn't solid, the rest doesn't matter! Now, I did this on a brand new truck, but I still degreased with brake cleaner, wire brushed, sanded, degreased, and wiped clean. If you have older calipers that have rust on them, you need to get it off if you expect this to last. Painting over a poorly prepped caliper that still has rust, dirt, grease, and/or grime isn't going to last, and it's not the products fault. The only thing I would do differently is when I do my wife's vehicle I will remove the calipers from the rotor and remove the brake pads. I don't intend to do all of that masking work again. If you do it properly, it is VERY time consuming. Put the entire vehicle on jack stands, do all your prep, and paint all 4 at the same time. By the time you get the 4th finished, it will be time to do the next coat on the 1st, and so on. Read and follow the directions on application regarding humidity and application and curing times and it will look great! I also painted the visible surface of my rotors Dupli-Color Black Satin because to me, a rusty rotor takes away from a nice looking caliper. I only painted what would be visible on the rotor. DO NOT paint the rotor (hub) face where the wheel contacts the rotor, unless you want wheel balance issues when you put the wheels back on. Even the *slightest* amount of paint between the wheel and rotor hub face will cause vibration. I don't know that this paint is actually rated for the rotor as it gets much hotter than the caliper, but I have had no problems with it. I did give it plenty of time to cure. Make sure it isn't the slightest bit tacky to the touch before driving. I then drove it a couple of miles throughout the neighborhood to heat them up. When I got back they were plenty hot and almost had a tacky feel. I let them cool and sit another day, and did the same thing the next day. It felt much better this time. I let it sit the rest of the day and the next day started driving it normally and have had no issues with it. I have driven and washed my truck normally at the car wash without any problems. I use the car wash sprayer and haven't damaged the caliper or rotor paint. I wash them normally though, I don't put the sprayer right next to the caliper. I would *definitely* recommend spending a little money and buying quality paint brushes. This paint is very thick and will pull the bristles of the supplied brush onto your paint surface. I had already anticipated this from other reviews and bought a little better quality brush from the craft store, but I was being cheap and bought lower to middle ground brush....the time I spent picking bristles out of my work was not worth the money I saved. Next time I will spend the money on a brush that can take the thick paint.

Product is great nice paint but could use a few more better brushes in the kit

Drying longer than a spray, but very smooth shiny and strong result. It's not necessary to cover all around, just local areas. I used only 1/8 of the volume to paint 4 calipers! Great value!

Not the same color in the photo when it dries
