It's the best Brown rice I have come across.The y delivered in Lockdown phase as well. The taste is just waoo. I ordered this product twice. This so super rich healthy.

Though the rice is good , I felt the quantity of rice in the packet may be less and is slightly over priced too.The rice can be soaked for an hour or two before cooking , if you prefer well cooked grains.

The rice I received was good, unlike the matta rice from big brands such as Double Horse and Nirapara. Matta rice sold by such big brands is polished, cheap rice with color added; when washed 2-3 times, it becomes almost white, with a sticky/oily feeling on the hands. This rice has a lot of dark colored natural bran still left on the rice after washing too. Yes, when washed, the water has some color and turbidity because the rice has on it some bran in powder form and that makes the water colorful. This rice when cooked, we get the original matta rice smell which is not in other big brands. If the price is reduced by about 15 rupees per kg, this rice will become very popular, at least in South India.

I have bought Ayush boiled rice before and the taste was good. So after a long gap I bought it again but this time the qaulity and the taste of the rice is not good. There are different colors of rice in the bag, its not entirely matta rice. It tastes bitter and smells like old rice and also takes long time to cook. I had to cook twice in the pressure cooker but still it was bit hard to eat. Its not the same Ayush brand which it used to be. If possible would like to return it.

Overall the taste it good, however I think that my batch was not stored well and it smelled damp and mouldy. Also it felt very dirty, I had to wash it several times before cooking. The flavour and the taste, when cooked were great. It takes about 40 minutes in the pressure cooker to cook (yes, that long). But if you are looking for healthy rice - Matta Rice is the way to go. I would not recommend this particular product for the above mentioned drawbacks, and also the value for money is not the best. I have found alternative that is better in quality and price. Eat Healthy, be healthy!

I loved the quality of this rice for diabetes. patient. My dad is a sugar and diabetes patient. The taste was also really very good. Its a must buy for a person having diabetes. Worth buying product.

Test is not good

I think this is semi poloshed rice. Rice is good as long as one like this variety of rice.. Red bigger rice... I have doubts on calling it Un polished..
