Question 4

What is the country of origin for this lactoferrin and is its potency 3rd party lab tested?

Accepted Answer

This Lactoferrin is imported from Europe, Ukraine, an active ingredient made in China. All imported dietary supplements are required to be the third party tested by an ISO 17025 accredited lab. FDA cGMP rule in 21 CFR part 111 requires all dietary supplement manufacturers to ensure the quality of the dietary supplement and to ensure that the dietary supplement is packaged and labeled as specified in the cGMP master manufacturing record. These documents strictly checked by the FDA and Customs. You can be 100% confident about the quality of imported supplements because it already passes FDA and Customs control before it goes to the US market. USA made products are less regulated because they come to the market first and then can be checked by the FDA, it can take years.
