Safe for young kids
Bought these for my 5 year old since I didn't want him to have a Nerf gun (those little projectiles hurt!). The foam balls in these are a little bigger than golf balls, and are soft enough not to hurt even at point blank range to the torso. He had a little problem with loading, and struggled a little with pumping the barrel, but not frustratingly so. We had a lot of fun with these.

It arrived!
This was the second time to order this item. First time was a no show but this time it arrived. Shoots well with a loud pop. I will enjoy this immensely! Nicely made. Easy to use. Good instructions.

Cat toy
Bought this for my cats. I saw another review that said they did the same and their cat liked it so I went for it. My cats like to play fetch...without the fetch part. This is perfect to launch balls without me having to move around to throw their ball. And since there's 2, my husband can be opposite of me and we can launch balls and have the cats run back and forth. Surprisingly my cats weren't bothered by the noise when a ball is launched. Wish there was a back opening to load balls faster instead of shoving them in through the front. But it's still worth it to me to not have to run after my cats balls to throw it for them

Some defects, but fun for kids
The set was missing a part needed to set up the target; however, we were able to make it work. One of the guns doesn't work properly, requiring you to continually drop the nose of the gun down so the balls will roll to the front before firing. It also often fires multiple balls at once, making it necessary to continually run around picking up your ammo. I would not buy from this manufacturer again. All of that being said, our 5- and 6-year old grandsons loved running around shooting these. The balls are soft and don't hurt even if they hit someone point blank and at close range. It was a hit with them!
