Oh my! This pen is wonderful. I did my kitchen floor with one pen—light grey. Color was perfect My grout was impossible to get clean I tried everything. Bleach applied with a Q-tip. Rubbed with an old toothbrush. Baking soda, nothing worked. I figured I had nothing to lose and the majority of the reviews were positive. I can’t believe how clean my floor looks now. The first 3 pictures show it half way through. Last 2 are it completed. I had no problems with the tip falling out or fraying. I do recommend this pen!

This product saved me money and time. My grout is two years old and I used several products to clean it.. (ie. )baking soda and peroxide, Oxyclean,and a vinegar based cleaner with negative results. I was reluctant to try the grout pen because some of the reviews stated it was hard to use and the tip didn't last long. Well I'm so glad I tried. I did my kitchen and a half bath with no problems. You really have to follow the directions completely and it will work fine. I used a paper plate to prime the pen each time the paint didn't flow out freely. Just keep priming the pen and don't press down too hard and it will work fine. I used the winter grey . I did one coat and let it dry for one hour then went over it again. My only concern is how long will this pen keep my (floors /grout ) looking good and refreshed. I would redo this process ever year if I had to. Will give an update later to let you know if its last 3 weeks or 3 years. I did e-mail the company RAINBOW CHALK , and asked if I needed to seal the grout chalk to keep it from staining and they replied No. So only time will tell. UPDATE: It's January 2023 and I'm reapplying another coat from 2020. Only because it started to look a little worn. I really didn't have to do the entire kitchen over but I wanted a uniformed look. This pen is excellent. I don't need to re-touch my half bath, for some reason it still looks good. This time I'm not going to clean my kitchen floors with nothing but really hot steaming water. I mop my floors practically every night and found that different chemicals aren't necessary. In addition I purchased the O-Cedar mop and bucket combo and it works great. Note: I was not paid for this review!

NOT FOR USE IN SHOWERS This is a great product for floor or wall repair, but given it's water-soluble, it should not be used in wet areas. I used it on my bathroom floor and it worked great. It’s easy to apply. The one thing to be aware of it that you should have a dense sponge (like a “magic eraser”) and once you go over the line, pass over it again with the sponge to even it out. Looks great. I tried it in my shower, however, and it's terrible. It lasts a couple of days, then it starts to flake off. My grout has an interesting color - when it's dry it's almost white (and a perfect match to this gray), but when it gets wet, it turns dark gray (almost black), so, where the product flakes off, you see black portions of the grout coming through. It looks like mold! The treatment seems to last no more than a couple of days. I've tried re-treating it and then sealing it with a clear grout sealer, all to no avail. It's just not strong enough for a shower floor. As I said, the rest of the bathroom seems just fine, it's just the shower floor that seems to suffer. Upside is that it removes pretty easily - I took a nail brush and some alcohol and got most of it up. Now looking for a different solution. Pros: - great match to my grout - easy to apply Cons: - Flakes off if used in a shower Recommendation: OK to use in other parts of the bathroom or kitchen, but not where standing water will collect.

This product works well but it’s not gray. It’s a cool white. They need a color in between this and the light gray.

I was wanting lighten the grout to blend more with the light gray tile. The winter gray is practically white. The color doesn't match the picture as advertised. The result of the color doesn't match the color of the cap on the pen either. I shook the pen for a long time thinking the color wasn't mixed well and put a marked on my gray wall to compare the color with the pen cap. (1st photo) If it had come out the same color as the cap, would have been perfect. Will be returning and order the light gray hoping it will be a better match. Otherwise it appears to be a very good product which is why I'm giving it a 5 star despite the inaccurate color match.

Junk! washes off without a problem after 2 days! It is outrageous that these are sold knowing how much labot goes into this work and how fast this will come off and look awful! Colors do not look as pictured, either. On the bright side- you will have to clean the grout really well twice- before and after putting this junk down! It will be really clean and good looking, you came seal it and enjoy the look!

If you don't have a large area this is the perfect "Tile Paint Marker" to touch up your grout. After using it, to cover my bathroom grout that had turned an unpleasant color over the years, my tiled bathroom looked like new. The only drawback using this pen is that grout can be abrasive and it will gradually wear the tip down. It did maintain it's shape enough to finish my small bathroom though. All in all a perfect way to refresh that aging discolored grout.

I have struggled to keep the grout in my shower looking great, as the slope is off just a bit for drainage, so there's an area where water stands a bit so that the grout always looks dark there. This pen is so easy to use, dries fast, and so far stays in place really well. Good solution to bring new life to your grout!

Love these grout pens for touching up grout. I used on my kitchen and bathroom floor tiles and they have lasted 3 months and counting with no fading or cracks. They have an antibacterial coating it says on the packaging, so was easier to use these pens to cover the grout rather than scrubbing with rubbish grout cleaners. Also very easy to wipe excess off, so can be done in a rush. I also use a steam mop with blasts of steam directly on them and they have lasted well

I ordered light grey and then ordered this as a tester. It basically just looks white, but I will hold onto it for my white backsplash as the light grey works very well.

I love these pens, they are super-easy to use, non-toxic, good colours - the only thing is they do come off quite easily as they are water soluable, but if you don't mop too often, it lasts a while, and re-applying is quick and the pens are cheap so it is fine with me.
