Is this syrup supposed to be quite runny?

Yes, it's a very runny syrup for adding to drinks - good for flavouring things but not very suitable for drizzling as it either runs off and pools or absorbs into things (which would be quite nice to flavour a cake I'd imagine). Gorgeous for coffee though :)
