Rothco 9'' Gi Type Combat Boot

Great bang for the buck!
I know from experience you have to order these one size smaller. I’ve been wearing a version of these classics for years. I get a lot of mileage and use out of this uninsulated, black leather boot for daily wear in the spring and fall. I wear them with a black sports jacket and scarf with jeans for a rock and roll-casual yet, thought out ensemble or just the t-shirt and jeans thing. They last for years and when they wear out and the leather shows through the black, they get that naturally distressed look. Of course they’re great for just mucking about in the woods. For under a hundred bucks, you can’t to better.

Great quality, a little loose on fit, but no issues.
The quality is very good. The fit was loose for my foot. The side to side and length were good but there was just a lot of room above the main part of my foot. It actually didn’t create any problems like blisters or anything. They worked great for my Halloween costume.

Low end
These are cheaply made boots. Run large, low quality leather , uncomfortable. I'll wear them to a ceremony then they'll only come out for funerals and other events.

They Run Large
They are high quality boots. Looking forward to getting my replacement pair in a 10 1/2. I usually wear a 12 but read the reviews to size down. I got the 11's and they were still too big. They were way more comfortable than I remembered my old combat boots being. They seem sturdy & should last a long time.

Decent Para Boots
Plain vanilla leather paratrooper boots. Comfy, lots of space but not like an extra size up or anything and I have skinny feet. No steel toecap which I don't need anyway and no steel shank. Just a pair of tough leather boots. Perfect for stomping around in the woods or accenting yer kilt.

So very unhappy w/these
After reading in the reviews that the sizing on these boots was wildly off, I ordered them one size smaller, and they were still huge. I also have a fairly wide foot, but I like snug boots, so I ordered a 'medium/regular' width, and they were ridiculously wide, even clown-like. My feet veritably swam in them - SO not good for hiking. The top 'collar' or 'cuff' is a clean cut, with no rounding at all, and due to the stiffness of the leather - which is actually the only GOOD thing I can say about these boots - they rubbed my skin raw in 5 minutes of wear - through my socks. The heel is poorly nailed into the sole, where a true combat boot would be a single piece. Also the sole is way too smooth for anything but dry walks on pavement, hiking in these is right out.To top all this off, the boots arrived with obvious black shiny spots where damages had been repaired prior to them being shipped out.Sent 'em back, and after paying a ludicrous 'restocking fee' I will not be re-ordering these, or anything else at all from this seller.

Totally awesome
Bought for an R.J. Macready "The Thing" costume, and they look great.

A comfortable leather boot for a good price.
These boots are a really good buy. Great leather and stitching. Super comfortable. I remember the old military jump boots painful break in. The bottom of the boot is the weak point. I ride street bikes and these are very comfortable shifting and breaking. They have a dress shoe type of bottom. For the money you won't be disappointed

Nice boots. CRAP leather. Sharp eyelids
I recived these boots 32 days ago. Used dubbin on them. Took my bmx bike to work. I did not do a whole lot of walking and they cracked. Small crack but it will get worse to the point of a 1/4 inch hole. The eyelids are sharp so they ruined the laces. And one is not the same shape as the other
