Double AA batteries immediately got hot. Batteries should never get that hot. The "AC," wall plug-in, never worked, not once. The battery cover did not fit properly. It bulged out always. How does quality control miss that? The sound was good. The size was good. The volume was good. It was just so cheaply built that it was next to useless. Double AA batteries should never get that hot. The radio was so cheaply built it scared me to use. So, in the garbage it went.

My wife likes to listen to sermons and hymns while she’s getting ready for church, and the small, inexpensive HDi radio was purchased specifically for that purpose. It’s uncomplicated and has a relatively large speaker with good sound quality.

First of all, this little radio is so stinkin’ cute! I love the turquoise color and retro look; it’s like having my own tiny version of a ‘57 Chevy on my kitchen counter. The sound is good and it picks up the FM station that I want. Also, the fact that it’s usable if and when the electricity goes off is a big plus. I am beyond happy with this purchase!

Got this for the office, it was so quiet. This works nicely and picks up stations well so we can have a little background noise at work.
