Q: I have an American PC that I need to hook up to my new APC Pro 1500 230V UPS. What power cables do I need to hook up my computer system in the UK?

This question is old now, but if anyone comes across this issue in the future, check your PC power supply before running out to buy a voltage converter - many are capable of running at 110 or 230V, with just a switch on the rear to change it.

Q: How long is the mains cable

Dear APC Valued Customer, For this model (BR1500GI), it does not come with its own power cord. You have to use your existing power cord (Ex. PC) for the system. However, it does come with two 1.8 meter IEC-320 jumpers cables for its outlets. I hope this answers your question. the USB is 2.0 and yes your PC will shut down depending on the way you configure it.
