Definitely worth the price!!!
These sticks are great because you can practice your drum rudiments on a table without damaging it, thanks to their rubber tip. They produce a great sound and they feel comfortable in your hands. I definitely recommend these sticks.

Improves control and produces more even strokes.
Sure, they look gimmicky. I really didn't know what to expect; however, they are fabulous. I am an advanced player and on a solid surface, such as marble, they are especially useful for fine tuning rudiments with up-strokes. Once I got used to the feel of the rubber tips, I noticed improved control using conventional sticks and smoother, more even strokes. I got great results wood shedding with the rubber tips at medium to slow tempos. Bottom line: A great fine-tuning tool. Promotes more relaxation and more even notes. They're fun to use.

Best practice sticks for my students!
I absolutely loved these students when I was taking lessons and always recommend them for my own students now! They are very affordable way for any drummer to practice anywhere without causing damage or disruption to those around them. Great for families with students in a busy household.

Great for working on your rudiments whenever you have a few spare minutes and 4 square inches of flat surface
I really like these. I have only been drumming for a year; I need lots of practice. I keep these in the kitchen so I can work on my rudiments on the kitchen counter top while waiting for frozen food to come out of the microwave or taster oven. The bounce is very similar to a practice pad and the tapered shaft makes the sticks feel exactly like the Vic Firth 5Bs that I drum with. Volume-wise, well it depends on what surface you play them on. On a laminate kitchen counter they are louder than the spongy side of a practice pad but not as loud as the rubberized side. They are loud enough to annoy my kids when they are trying to catch up on Sponge-Bob and Co's latest nautical adventures. When I first started using these I noticed that you get more reverberation transmitted up the stick than when using regular sticks on a practice pad. As an absolute beginner that was an issue and would cause discomfort in my hands so I didn't use them too much to start with. I have since realized that as your hand/grip technique develops/improves you are able to prevent the reverb from transmitting to your hands, so this is no longer an issue. Probably not ideal for absolute beginners (stick to a practice pad while you develop a light, reverb-absorbing hand/grip technique), but certainly still usable for short periods. Once you've figured out how to grip the sticks properly you'll be chopping out to all of your kids favorite TV show themes. BTW: Sponge-Bob's theme song is a shuffle with a triplet feel so don't try practicing your paradiddles to that, it only leads to frustration.

Great action! Mutes cymbals but not drums
These rubber-tipped drumsticks have a good weight and accurate rebound response for practice. Single- and double-stroke rolls are effortless. They will mute your cymbal volumes greatly. Note, however, they will NOT mute your drums appreciably, as drumhead volume is a function of strike force and head displacement. The attack may be slightly tamer, but your neighbors won't think so!

These are really great! My son uses them to practice when the other kids are doing their homework or just when we need it to be a bit quieter in the house (although he still prefers to drum with his normal sticks right on the dining room table!) These have great bounce and do NOT come off unless your'e really yanking

I would recommend these to all who play drums
Great practice sticks. Save the drum skins from taking as much abuse.

Buena compra
Geniales para pads electrónicos o para practicar en cajas sordas. Las normales hacen mucho ruido si lo que quieres es usarla en un Pad.
