I don't know why I spent so long waiting to replace this part. I even thought about just buying a whole new bag because new bags are not much more expensive. This was a very happy purchase and my bag is ready for another few years of use.I found that my bag flap had stretched with so much use over time, so I had to create a higher hole for the new buckle but it's good as new, now and I'm loving that it fit!

The replacement clasp was a bit too wide, and a slightly different style than what was pictured. I had to file the sides just a bit to get it to keep from sticking. In the picutrethe replacement is on the left. Very good customer service. They communicated promptly, but I solved the problem on my own.Not a perfect result, but I like the satchel and didn't want to replace the whole thing .

I love my bag! But it's crazy that the buckle comes off so easily. Hopefully we can "tack" the next one on because I refuse to keep buying the replacements.

Would have been 5 stars except I had to file the sides down a mm to make it fit. But once I got it to fit, works perfectly
