Risky Business - Movie Soundtrack

Still my favorite album of Tangerine Dream. The CD and case were in excellent condition. Can't complain about the price for (what should never be) an out of print CD. The soundtrack remains a classic for a movie that goes head to head with John Hughes coming-of-age teen films.Happy with the service and the speed in which my package arrived.

Most of the tracks on this cd are good. The only two that were not as good as the rest , were "Guido the Killer Pimp" and "After the Fall", though these were still pretty good. Most of the Tangerine Dream ones are hypnotic and dream like. Definately worth the purchase. I recently bought the film on blue ray so this is a good complement.

Lucky to be able to acquire this soundtrack again, as it is no normally found through other electronic formats such as Amazon mp3 or iTunes. The non Tangerine Dreams pieces are easily found, but to have the Tangerine Dream pieces you have to buy the cd - which can easily done though Amazon. Thanks for letting have a piece of my 80's memories again!

I'd forgotten just how good a movie it is, liked it so much this time I bought the soundtrack equally good.

A rare collection of Tangerine Dream music. Unlike "Vision Quest", the Tangerine dream music is included.

This is one of my favorite movies, so I really liked the soundtrack as well. The soundtracks brings back memories of the movie.

I have to admit that I haven't seen the film; I bought this because of the Tangerine Dream content, being a bit of a TD anorak. When I saw the listing (TD / Bob Seger / Prince (!) / Jeff Beck (!!) / Muddy Waters (!!!) I had second thoughts, but at £3.69 it was a good gamble.There are clearly parts of the film that will be particularly suited to the blues songs - and only them - whereas Tangerine Dream look to be providing a "structure" for building the rest of the soundtrack on.It should be remembered that TD music is NOT "ambient" (for playing away in the background while the real action happens elsewhere). After all, a film ("Sorcerer" or "Thief" - can't remember now) was once made AFTER their soundtrack for it had been composed, and William Friedkin, director of "Sorcerer" has said that if he had known of TD earlier, he would have asked them to score "The Exorcist".So, all in all, a very satisfying soundtrack mix.

For years I intended to replace my original vinyl copy of this soundtrack with CD and have only now got round to it. This is a fantastic soundtrack album, with all the very best bits from the original film and incredibly haunting compositions from Tangerine Dream. Brilliant buy.

Der Score zu Lockere Geschäfte hat eigentlich von allem ein bischen was, das in den 80ern in war. Einige Tracks Synthiemusik von Tangerine Dream, etwas rockigere Noten, bischen Ballade, bischen Mainstreampop, was ne gute Mischung ergibt. Der grösste Klassiker und Hit unter den Songs ist hier sicher 'In the air tonight' von Phil Collins, der wenig später durch seine Verwendung in 'Miami Vice' die Spitze seiner Popularität erreichen sollte.Insgesamt reichts für mich jedoch nicht zu 5 Sternen, da mir die Songs 1 & 8 nicht ganz so zusagen und der Score mit anderen 80er Soundtrackklassikern wie 'Scarface', 'St. Elmos Fire', 'Vision Quest', 'Cobra', 'Over the Top' oder 'Top Gun' nicht ganz mithalten kann.
