Solid Watch with a Few Quirks
I really like this watch. It's accurate and has held well up so far. My only two quibbles are that the watch face can get minorly scratched up (though I'm still able to see what I need to through them), and I'm kind of annoyed that the light up feature is a hard 3 seconds (there's no holding of the button to keep it illuminated or anything) so sometimes at night when my vision is a bit blurrier I end up repeatedly pressing the light button until I'm able to focus and read the time. Thankfully if you press it a few times the hands do glow so I can use that to help me see between presses, but it's really hard to read the digital date or time box using the light feature.

Good size for thick men wrist
Best digital analog watch i own. How many Anaolog watches do u own that are digital as well? this thing has the standard 2 alarms plus the snz alarm as well and all the other usual casio stuff we all love casio for. Brightness on the watch could be better but its good enough. Weight on the wrist is light, you forget your even wearing it. I have average to bigger man size wrist and i really like this fit. Readability of the analog and digital side is very easy. As far as functionality I like to wear this watch whenever i wear a button up or anything with a collar , its more of a dress up watch.

Great watch, band is 188mm NOT 22mm
Great watch from Casio as usual. A couple of things to note: the screen is bulging so gets scratched up badly. Also the band is 18mm (actually closer to 17mm) NOT 22mm as noted

It is a good value.
5 Stars simply because it was what I thought it was, an inexpensive watch that I can wear and not worry about beating up. I also had another similar Casio that I ordered a few months earlier but it was "adopted" by my daughter for her job, so I went with this model just for the hour chirp and alarm. The one thing I didn't like on either watch was the band, it was fine, worked well, just annoyed me with its velcro so I quickly ordered a magnetic band as a replacement.

Good value .. Many features .. Resizing the band is a pain
This my opinion of the Casio Analog-Digital watch Model AW80 (2747) with a metal band. It packs a lot of features and feels very solid. Other reviewers have pointed out that parts of the case are resin, such as where the band attaches to the watch body. Also, the crystal is plastic and can be easily scratched. I don't wear a watch everyday, so those points are not negatives for me.The complexity of the features requires studying the tiny included printed instruction manual. Fortunately, a quick online search will result in a manual in PDF format that is easier to read. The first thing to do is set the time and date. It's important to note that the analog hands and the digital display must be set separately. Changing one does not change the other. Follow the procedure in the manual. Once they are properly set, the time on both analog and digital sections will stay in sync. The watch band needed to be resized for me. It was too large for my wrist. Again, I had to go to the web and search for instructions on how to resize it which involves removing links. This band is a 'Folded Link' type. I found several videos online with instructions.I have attached pictures that show the clip that must be removed (Letter A) before a link can be taken out. Two clips must be removed to take out one link. Insert a small screw driver into the hole at the bottom of the link and push the clip in the direction of the arrows. The clips on my band did not come out easily. I had to first spread the link opening apart (very slightly) before the clip would come out. After that, I had to fiddle with the links to separate them. Each link will subtract about 3/8 inch from the band. There is a small adjustment area (Letter B) if the fit needs to be fine tuned. Reassemble the links and insert the clips. I used a rubber mallet to fit them back in.At one point in this whole process I had to exert so much force that I thought I would surely bend or break something. It didn't and it ended up to be the proper size for me. Again, look online for complete instructions. This watch suits me and has more features than I will regularly use. It's a low cost watch that doesn't look low cost.

Looks and feels quality for the price.
Looks good. Quality feel to the watch case and buttons. I do believe the makeup is glass and aluminum and should be able to take a beating with daily usage while remaining in one piece. There are no gaps in the construction and should be moderately water resistant. The strap is not of the best quality feeling and seems very thin and cheap nylon with thin and cheap pleather but the strap should last you a least 1-2 years of daily usage. The controls are that of most digital watches but the main problem of the watch is setting the time. The digital section is independent of the analog section and thusly you must set each time but in doing so it is difficult in getting both sections accurate. The second display can only be reset to 0 not to a specified time therefor my watch is currently 10 seconds behind what my phone displays.Watch face kinda small but not overly big like my smart watch. The illumination is not that bright and is quick to turn off. I would've liked for the light to reflect off the face not from the sides.
