These are perfect for the older model IKEA Billy Bookcases - which is a HUGE relief because I lost a set of hardware in our last move. I even brought IKEA the exact piece to show them so that we could order a set of hardware and they still shipped me the hardware for the current Billys. These fit perfectly and the shelves feel very stable - there were some that I had to lightly hammer in place because they were snug.

I really only needed one of these things. I wish they were sold in smaller lots but this seemed to be the most cost effective/low quantity so I purchased these. It is worth the cost to get my shelf back. They are slightly slimmer than the one I am replacing. As pictured (on the left) the ends are a bit rounded, the divider is shorter and it is slightly thinner than the originals so it has a small amount of play in the hole. It does the job though, doesn't fall out and now I have 24 extras if ever the kids lose another, and I am sure they will. Plus it's not like anyone is looking at these.

These pins worked very well in my older Ikea bookshelves and in one from another brand. They are well built and sized correctly.

Stop leaving bad reviews because you didn't do your research. This fit my older style Billy bookcase but beyond just the style of the bookcase I actually measured the hole size. Measure the hole size on your shelf and buy the shlef pin size to match. For me these fit perfect.

I got a book shelf from Ikea but needed it for my cds so I got more shelves and I needed more pins for them all so I order these and they are just the perfect fit! These make the work easier in every way so once I need to move the whole think it'll be easier to disassemble and assemble it again. The price was also great so this is totally awesome. Thanks!

I went to IKEA to find replacement pin shelf rests that were lost in a move. Although I was informed that they had thousands of these on hand, there was no bin for them in the "Lost Parts" section and a sign that said to get a help desk ticket if your part wasn't there. When I went to get the help desk ticket, the wait was over 2 hours. Save yourself the hassle of trying to get these at IKEA and just order them online. The price was reasonable, the seller shipped the items quickly and, with 25 pins, should last you through many moves and lost pins.

These unfortunately did not fit the shelves I needed them to—make sure to measure really well before you order. The pegs themselves feel very solid and good quality. Would make good replacements for lost parts as long as they are the correct ones. Reasonable price for quality and amount.

Perfect for the extra shelves I am installing on my two Ikea bookshelves. I will have to order more items at the same time next order to make the high shipping costs more logical
