Can i get a federal charge for purchasing one of these?

Felons under Federal Law in the US cannot own, posses, or transport body armor. No exceptions. Unless you truly believe that the 2nd Amendment is absolute, Shall Not be infringed. Which you obviously don't, or you wouldn't ask permission. Freedom and free men do not require permission for a God given right.

Will it accept esapi ceramic armor plates?

I order a fest I think it was pullet proof but I guess is not

What plate size for this vest?

It's too heavy the 8mm plaques. The vest holds 10" ×12" plaques and foamie plaques too, and have room enough .

Very comfortable
