Beautiful and with a sheen
My kitchen has impossible tile from the previous owner that is a mosaic of dark steel blue-gray, greige, beige, cream, and white. I never thought I'd find a round rug with all of those colors but here we are. The rug is thin and the borders aren't as quality done as I'd like, but the price is right and I loved that it came in a larger round rug option than is standard. I was worried that the varying height of the pile would make it difficult for my kitchen chairs to sit on the rug evenly but that was no issue. I bought a thick carpet pad as well, and glad I did because this rug is thin, so I think it adds to the appearance while also keeping it from sliding around. Do note two things: 1) the scale of this is much larger than the scale of the "matching" runner - something I should have known from the images but that caught me by surprise and looks weird when they're next to each other. And 2) there is a "sheen" on the threads that give this rug a more formal look than what I had going on in my kitchen, so if you're looking for boho, casual, rustic, vintage, or farmhouse feel, this may be too formal for what you need. It is for me but I'm keeping it anyway because I love it.

The rug was almost all tan and depending on which end you stood at it was almost white. I wonder if it was defective. I sent it back but am tempted to reorder and see if I can get one with blue as pictured.
