oh man !!! i hate laura dean
~For me this graphic novel was okay okay when it comes to the story. i really hated the character laura dean, i was so angry with her throughout the book & also angry with freddy riley for not getting over with laura dean.~But the art style is soo gorgeous....it has this pastel pink popped up in between black & grey on white background which made every page look soo aesthetic 😍~good thing about this graphic novel was of course the art (which literally saved this book) & it has got some really amazing & super cool queer characters which i really enjoyed having them.~the whole thing about the way how always laura dean keeps breaking up with freddy riley didn’t made sense at all.....the most hateable character award of the year goes to none other than laura effing dean.

Pretty good
🌟⭐ 8.5 stars out of 10 ⭐🌟Keywords: comic, romance, slice of life, LGBTLaura Dean Keeps Breaking Up with Me is a graphic novel about Fred, a teenager trapped in toxic relationship with her girlfriend, Laura Dean. Laura Dean is popular, charming, but also shitty when it comes to love. Fred knew she should stop but they always end up getting back together again and again. Will Fred finally geting out of this loop?Storywise, trapped in toxic relationship is very common I'm sure a lot of people could relate with the story. There are some advices written beautifully here and there. The plot itself is not too complicated so it's perfect for a quick read. The mood of the story is a bit grim but still light enough to read between heavy activities. The art is okay but the casts are diverse. I like how the artist draw various body types for the characters. I also like how the comic give me insight on how does it feel to be openly gay, something impossible in a very conservative country like mine.

Couldn't enjoy it😑
I couldn't enjoy it at all and it must be like my 200th of such reads. So please don't think I am giving it a low rating for the sake of giving it.Reasons why I couldn't like it:It's too depressing to read. The art style is a bit congested and the dialogue bubbles a bit too limited giving the impression of the art sequence as a little rushed.I couldn't connect with any of the characters. And it gets more depressing. Till the end, the main character did not even once showed an expression of being happy or showed a hint of being okay with herself. The other characters did nothing much. But it seems like they were just there to make everything just more mundane.Actually it turns out to be really monotonous. It has got a happy ending that's all for me.I wish the entire read was an enjoyable one. But it's okay.Thank you, next ☕
